Super Newbie Question: Does penalize site for submitting to multiple search engines?

    This is probably a super newbie question but I just thought of it.

    Does/could google penalize a website for being listed on other search engines or getting more traffic from another search engine when compared to theirs.

    I am sure this is quick answer but I am just wondering.

    No penalty for that. Google does not own the entire internet...yet!
