super long tail - what would happen if I created 10,000 unique webpages on a new website?

So I have a method for generating good (ish) human readable unique content aimed at very long tail searches. So my question is if I brought a new domain and google crawled say 10,000 of these pages would it just completely freak out at that amount of content with no links and just assume it's garbage and slap my site? Would it be any different if I brought an aged domain with a few good backlinks? Or would it just treat it like any other site until it had reason to penalise?

Any thoughts, theories and past experience very welcome :)

I dont think it would matter. Google would judge it on the content same as usual. Depends how good the content is, length, uniqueness and so on.

Google will index your site and content. Nothing special. For better results i would build it as silo and also use interlinking (for each silo group). Then start linkbuilding.

Still works. And the content doesn`t even have to be readable. But there are tricks to make it work even better.

    Cheers

i have already did it. Aroung 3000 - 4000 articles, targeting long tails, readable content, and after 2 or 3 weeks domain got penalized for "pure spam".

I'm guessing your site was manually reviewed?

Did he launch it with 10k articles? That is a BIG site to launch and may get manual attention.

Unless it's some kind of automatic process, it's not worth it, as creating that many pages will likely take you a lot of time, and then the site will disappear after a manual review.
