Suggest to friends doesn't work on my page only.

the way to add new fans is create a event in to the page and send invites to join, its the only way to do it! and to be lucky with any new user:/ its easy if u are admin, but not all are admin fB bullsh|t!
 
OK so guys this is the URL of fan page manager:

You need to replace two parameters here, the node_id which is the ID of your page and the invite key.

You can get your page ID by hovering your mouse over the profile picture of your page and right clicking, copy link location. Paste it somewhere and the ID from at the end of that link is your page ID.

To get the invite_key use firebug. Open up the console and click on the suggest to page link. It doesnt work right now but you can read the POST data in the console from that link and inside that data is the invite key.

Paste it into the link above and you can use it to get to your fan page manager.

This is very disappointing.

I make this post and 24 hours later someone emails this exact post to me telling me its a new way to invite... no thanks here at all.

1. please show me a sample of node_id
2. how to find the page ID i don't understand the details.
 
To invite to a fanpage seems to be working fine the old way, however they just grey out, I dont think it actually goes to the persons invited... this has been going on for a while.

Event invites can be done, but only with smaller profiles, the minute you try to invite to a large profile that has a few thousand friends, it goes to open the friend inviter, takes a few seconds and then just disappears.

Thanks, though it does seem to imply that it will be fixed for all - "Page admins should not fret, as their users will soon regain the ability to invite friends to Like a Page".

hmm, I really hope they're right about this as it's causing havoc.
 
thank god it might come back to normal fb changes so many things so many times just seems like we are going to keep on fighting with there changes and never make any money or some money hehehhe
