If you want 200K you're gonna have to do an in-person meeting with people dressed in business suits and maybe have to suck a dick or two.

Better add a professional business plan writer, and experienced management team (yes with degrees MBA and everything). Typically you can't get cash without these. Fortunately if you can find an MBA they will usually have the connections to the cash you seek. So they make Great Partners if you can trust them. There are many MBA's out of work at the moment so you could be in luck.

If you do find someone to work with do not throw out that $200k figure. Just tell them that you have hardware needs and the basic payroll/office expenses. You will need that person to put together the business plan and figure out what the overall needs of the company will be with a proper management team in place.

    Hope that helps.

Lmao you don't need an experienced team with MBAs. Most angel investors have so much money they don't even look at your business plan, they'll give you the cash if they think its a good idea. Set up some meetings with angel investors, and if you don't get the investment ask for some feedback and improve.

How many companies have you raised money for? Just for legal reason you have to have a private placement memorandum, signed qualified investor forms from every possible member of an investment group and the list goes on from there.

This is applying to US companies anyway. It's not like it was in 99

What you guys think, will it be easier if i start the business first and make some progress and offer partnership in exchange of investment or looking for investment, find one first and then start the business?

Dude i thought you were going to say about 50k or so. I was going to invest then but 200k..Yea good luck.

But if you have any $$$ theres a person in BHW I been working with. He flipped my money 3 fold or more...Started with 60k now I got like 250k over a course of 6 months or so....

But if you want me to put up 50k I hope you got a nice car to sign over for collateral in the meanwhile and you have to discuss your plan with my top attorney MR. Joel

    PM me

yeah, check out "angel investors". i pitched for them a few times and here you will benefit from all the time and energy i wasted. here is what they want:

    1) 1st to market - you must be the first guy doing it (or with this twist)
    2) barrier to entry (it cant be easy to duplicate)
    3) exit strategy - how soon can they sell it and make a profit (and how much)

If you have good answers for those you have a shot. i really learned to pitch over time for different companies. was competing with "the geek squad" and some other up-comers that are household names now. geek squad beat me out cause of a little letter they had hand written to a best buy v.p. about a possible in-store location. who knew? so, be sure to consider little things like that if brick and mortar can compliment your service.

edit: 200k is too low, they cant work with it. find a way to come up with 7 digits, if your model is scalable it should be possible.

well... if you have such an experienced team then use other strategies to make money... you should be able to do that within a time frame of 6 months.. and invest... so if you fuck up you can go home and cry... not have people at your neck trying to kill you for the 250k

Business is not something to do with only money. It is a matter of collaboration between skill and investment. What you think skill don't have a monetary value! The R&D and management we have done so far will cost anyone around 50K-70K depending on geo location. If you still think we are crying out doing hell out of request for investment, i suggest to concentrate at least a few hour reading some economics, business and self development books.
And if you are a consistent earner, i am sure you know it is not possible to save 200K within 6 or 10 months. The more people earn, the more they spend.
On the other hand Investors also need enterprenuers to roll their money and bank. So consider it as dependency for both part.

    @dante:

People who have spare cash need stuff to invest to, people who make thinks need investors. That 's how it works the last 150 years, in case you haven't noticed.
