here are some of them you might like
in your range and good ones
As per your need and budget.
An Intel i5 or intel i7 with 4 Gig RAM would be good enough.
Most preferably HP , DELL or ACER or Lenovo.
So acer is a well made brand? They are quite new right?
What is it you're looking for?
What screen size?
Is speed important?
Is battery life important?
Is weight important?
is durability important?
whats your budget?
I bought this puppy about a month ago and I love it. It has a 17.3 inch screen that is amazing. It has a full keyboard with number pad which is important to me for typing and bh stuff. It has 4 gig ram and an i5 2.66 ghz processor so it screams. It also has a nice 1gb video card incase you want to play some modern games. It does heat up a tiny but, but it's not really that bad. It was the best priced laptop I could find with an i5 and I'm very happy with it so far.
Acer is not new. There are here for long time now.
In Acer any of these would be most preferable:
Stick with quad core laptops, so i5 or i7. Also, do not buy HP. A kid could design the internal design better than them. I'd prefer Dell, Toshiba or Lenovo. I don't like Acer and Asus because of the low quality product built in. Oh and Sony is way over rated, don't pay too much.
In lenovo this would be most preffered:
In Acer :
In Dell :
Thats it. The best ones for your budget and need.
For now there's only one good laptop, Samsung Series 9 laptop. Sleek and sexy
acer sucks big time IMO. I'd prefer HP or dell...
What screen size? - Erm not that fussed, I think mines 16inch
Is speed important? - Of course
Is battery life important? - I have never used a laptop on a battery for more than a hour
Is weight important? Longs I have still feel my legs
is durability important? If I can get 2 years use ill be happy
whats your budget? Read above
If you need all these + Good battery run time
Lenovo would be the best for you.
Run Time (Up To) : 9 hours.
i personally have used DELL, Acer and Lenovo. All are pretty much similar. if the Specs are same.
Wow amazing battery life on the Lenovo.
I've got a dell inspiron 1545 and it's a bit slowwwww.
45 minutes tops with my battery life, no numpad,on board gfx and only a i3 cpu.
So don't buy that one haha.
Get a MAC if you have a VPS.
1. Dell XPS or 14R Series (I use myself one of these and really cool...I am an SEO guy too)
2. Macbook Pro (Cool and Stylish)
3. HP Pavilion (One of my fav)
+1 for Mac Book Pro. good perfomance.
macbook pro FTW.
i would never choose acer.
Dell or HP.
As per your budget,
You can have 2 options as per me:
1. Dell Vostro, I 5 or I7 processor (I7 is slightly costlier), 4 GB Ram, It has a battery life of 2+hours, 15.6 inch screen, can have dual boot windows 7 as well as windows xp
If you wanna spend a few pounds extra
You can go for Dell Inspiron I5/I7 processor, same configuration, It can only have Windows 7, no dual boot with Win xp
I have been using Dell, and Dell have the best laptops as per me
