Exactly, you need something which stays online 24x7 (commonly a cloud server), that's a basic principle in automation with social media stuff.

As above members said you need a VPS so it can be 24/7 on

INCASE you want a PC

go for higher CORE processor

Priority
1. Processor = Higher core
2. Memory
3. SSD

I have zero experience with VPS
How does it work?
Please elaborate

You need windows VPS. You buy a VPS/RDP Server from a cloud provider and then connect the remote server. Once you in, you start using it like your PC. VPS/RDP specs change according to the price. But in general, social media automation tools require powerful VPS specs. (Totally depending on your use case)

Let's say if i were to run more than 1K threads at a time
would it be able to handle it

There are different variety of Windows server. More powerful server = more money!
Rather than buying your own hardware, you are renting cloud hardware and executing/running your programmes.
If you want to run 1K threads then research the hardware you need and either buy it or rent it online.
Cloud servers are like your home PC (the only difference is that they are in clouds)

Which one should i go for
AMD Ryzen or Intel core

This does not matter, It will not make a big of difference. you just WANT to make sure your PC handles the process.
AMD offer more cores but INTEL has more CORE power

You don't need to run 1k threads unless you're doing something that really needs it like managing 10k accs and in this case instead of a single VPS you will need multiple ones to avoid a fatal crash in a single machine and get hours of automation wasted.

Anyways at the case of 10k you should be already making enough money to hire 1-3 people to manage all the systems for you, and them should be run on Linux unless the software is strictly for Windows.

I even managed to automate 1k accs in a single VPS with just 2 threads (Around 10$ per month) it's just a thing of optimization and good resource usage.

So in short words if you need 1k threads there are three scenarios
- Your software is a poor one
- You are already making enough money to hire a team
- You are not doing enough money and should think again about your strategy

It depends on how many tools and profiles you suppose to run

Normally a 10$ SEO tools vps can handle the job , unless you run more than hundred accounts

A good PC setup should include a better RAM that can handle the automation software. also you could go for a VPS that can save your cost for building pc.

Can you recommend anyone on bhw that provides VPS? and will you need to buy an additional tool for automation once you have the vps or the tool is usually included when buying a vps?

Is there any tutorial thread on bhw on this?

A vps usually won't provide you the tools for automation if they're advertised with tools included of automation I will take their offer with a grain of salt
I write my own private tools all the public ones that I've tried are full of blocks
@DamoHG is a good VPS provider

I agree with skule, choose LINUX over Windows

2 threads seems to be very slow process to complete 1k accounts what time did it take for you to complete 1k accounts and what type of work did you used it for depends.

Around 20 hrs daily
Each account just needed between 3-10 seconds sometimes they would need a couple more of seconds but it never passed 24 hours doing actions

How many CPU cores should i go for to get a VPS
If i need to run 1k threads inside a BOT
Is that possible a single VPS could run it smoothly with huge multitasking

First of all, take it easy use the bot for a couple of accounts and see on task manager what are the resources that it’s using

Second of all something that big shouldn’t be setup by you if you don’t know what you are doing, so start small and see if that’s a really profitable niche
