I want to do a press release site. Like my own PRWeb or free press release directory with free and paid options for SEO press releases.

I was originally thinking of doing this on top of Wordpress with a paid posting plugin. But I cannot find anything out there that will let me do this easily without custom coding.

Can anyone suggest a good platform that will let me build this without custom coding. Not that I don't want to write code, I just don't want to sink that much time into it, rather use off the shelf components.

So, should I look at an article directory script and then customize that? Or is there some combination of Wordpress plugins I can use for this? Or is there a specific solution for this?

What I'm trying to do is come up with a base platform and configuration that I can then replicate/re-implement to do niche specific PR sites.

Where are you going to get your customers from? Why would they use you and not someone else?

Because I have the highly targeted audience that customers want to access. They've already found me, so instead of giving them access for free, I want to throw up something self service to let them put there stuff out there and let me make some money on it :)
