Hi, this is my first post here, so i just want to put a few ideas out for discussion. We are all hurting because of the new CL PVA account requirements, but honestly, can't we do something? There have to be some lawyers here that want to make a name for themselves by suing CL for unfair business practices or maybe restriction of trade? I'm no lawyer but it would seem as though no matter what color hat we wear, we have a cause to complain. Anyone have any thoughts on this?

I have a feeling that there are not too many lawyers on a blackhat forum. However I have noticed the PVA status of Craigslist. There is, sadly, nothing that we can do. They, like eBay and Amazon, can restrict and slash and ban to their hearts content. The posters to Craigslist risk the company's reputation every time they post, therefore CL has the authority to monitor things such as this.

Louis if you want you can reward CL for cleaning the posts. Honestly if you look from normal customers eyes it's a good action making posting on CL harder

Yes, I understand the reputation issue. And I know that there must be SOME control. But look at the situations they have missed. Remember the post that got a guys house emptied and he wasn't there? and now they are taking heat for a number of murders. No, they can't watch everything, but I have seen people posting honest stuff the "right way" without using text pictures or any of the tricks, and they get flagged off right away. And there have even been posts here where people that are offering legitimate services are being banned. I'm not whining, but every time I see their mantra "Defend Net Neutrality" I have to laugh. What a bunch of nonsense.
