    Hey guys,

I just checked my google analytics today and I saw that I have got around 700 views yesterday, My site usually gets around 60-70 only since I suffered a drop in keywords in Feb, the keywords are still not at #1 but even then I got this increase in traffic and I am confused how this is happening. Upon investing further, I saw that the increase in traffic started started 3 days back, it went from usual 60-70 to 128 and then 260 and today its 700.

    Anyone else experiencing the same?

Anyone has an idea what is happening to my site?

The traffic is set to be "organic" but the keyword is "not set"
Even right now there are about 7 people on my site.

Also, I got around 17-18 sales on Amazon as well so some of it is converting as well.

All I need to know how this is happening since it was nice knowing that I made almost 50$+ yesterday alone..

    Thank you.

UPDATE: I got over 400 clicks on my Amazon links as well! So surely the traffic isn't bot traffic! No idea where the traffic is coming from though..

UPDATE: Got 600 views yesterday, 300 clicks. made 50$ in commission. I am loving this but I need to know from where my views are coming. Any one has any idea? It still says "not provided" in keywords on GA

    Algo? Let's play with you.
Use Semrush and GWT, do it quick - the most important thing in marketing is to ask "Why".
Why did the traffic increase? Why did the ranking increase? Why did the CR increased yesterday?
    Good luck mate.

I tried Statscounter and on Keyword it says - (Keywords Unavailable) Really need to know where this search engine traffic is coming from.

Exactly, I need to know why, I can't just sit here and enjoy it. I need to know how and why so that I can make it permanent, but I can't find a way. GWT also shows an increase in clicks but nothing else.

Is there a chance that somehow searches for my keyword increased? Its a possibility? But suddenly from 70 users to 700 is a bit toooo much

You won't find the KWs from any source... I misunderstood your post or would have shared that earlier.

I thought you could not see the referring page.

    I better take some Geritol.

Google switched to https in 2011 and ever since then the vast majority keyword data is "not provided" (I assume you mean "not provided", because "not set" rarely appears under organic), see https://googleblog.blogspot.de/2011/10/making-search-more-secure.html There is s small workaround that doesn't give you the keywords, but a hint to the actual source inside Google, see https://deedpolloffice.com/blog/articles/decoding-ved-parameter No easy stuff, but really worth understanding.

Much easier approach: Use a professional tool like Searchmetrics or similar that offers historic ranking/visibility data and have a look which keywords moved, which keywords you are ranking for. In contrast to the usual keyword trackers, these kinds of tools find your rankings (assuming they are included in the tools keyword set) without having to predefine a list of keywords.

GWT also shows which queries the clicks came from, did you check that?
