    Hey guys,

I'm wondering if there are any successful teens under 18 out there who are having some good success in IM? I'm 17, and the struggle can be overwhelming when you try to start with the big dogs, because you're first instinct is "You will become rich over night" which I have learned the hard way... Is not even close to true, but even when I try some of the methods on here that people say are "Noob Friendly" I still don't see any results most of the time... But if you have moved onto bigger, and better ventures. Would you mind sharing some methods you used at the very start to help get your foot in the door?

I'm sure many of other teens like me would be interested, and could use the motivation, and joy you get after seeing some sort of results.

    Thank you,
    Tim Johnson

Your age has nothing to do with making money. There are some downsides to it like having a legit Paypal account or being able to legally sign a contract yourself.

In my opinion, the long term income is in Offline Marketing. Establishing a business is hard if you're under 18, but you're 17 so you're not that far from being able to.

You should get a good stream of income from online methods then funnel a percentage of that into offline things. There are tons of online methods so it's hard to give you a "one size fits all". What methods have you tried already? What's your passion?

There are some members on here who are under the age of 15 and are having $20+ days. To be more specific check out this journey:

I'm 16 and started this when I was almost 15 for $50 to buy shit in games, now I make ~$1000 (a month) and don't do much work. Guess that's success?

I'm 17 as well and I've been successful with IM so far.

I started with learning SEO and ranking sites to the top of Google which would bring me leads/sales.
So a good place for you to start would be to learn SEO, there are some good guides around the forum that will teach you.

Age doesn't matter, what matters is to make as much money as possible.

    I started when I was 15 and was making $1 a day, now I'm 17 and making $100 - $300 a day.

Nothing is impossible, and its VERY possible to have a legit Paypal account at any age. Paypal is very lenient if you are upfront with them and its a woman on the other end of the line.

Like what others already said, age has nothing to do with making money online. In fact, I would consider that (starting at a young age) to be very advantageous. The earlier you start with making money online, the sooner you'll become an expert to it. So yes, start learning today and build your online business. Good luck!

Don't worry about it, if you really enjoy it then go for it.

Not going to go too in-depth about it, but yeah, just do your thing ;)

I know what other senior member want to say but don't wish to. So I will say it for them.

No one gives a FUCK about your age. We/I don't like teenage members sometimes because they try to hard to prove themselves. Like they want to be the alpha-male among their own. So they make dimes or just $10/day and they start posting everywhere to show off.

It is NOT jealousy. This is like seeing kids boasting to other kids that they have branded goods while the rest are using regular brand goods.

    It is fucking annoying.

Only immature kids like to show off and prove themselves because they want to get admired and impress chicks. But we don't give a hoot here. Be humble and that's the first step to be a mature gentleman. That's why we always have people we don't like because they "show off or boast too much". You don't want to end up in that category.

If you think you've achieved success then bravo. I congratulate you. But don't let such small success hit your head. I've seen teens and even guys around my age start acting as if they own the world when they just have a little success. Then when things go bad, they start emo-ing, feeling depressed, and ashamed because they can't boast anymore and the people whom they once boasted to are now mocking them. You don't want to end up like them.

Age has nothing to do with it really.
    I started when I was 13, now I'm 17.
In IM, nobody cares about your age. Results are what matter. All else is irrelevant.

I started out back when I was a teenager and I've got to tell you it was crazy how easy it was to make money online back then in the late 90's. That was back when just posting 1 link anywhere would almost guarantee you orders. And that was when ppl bought things online by sending in a check or money order.

I know that having things like no paypal and not being able to sign up for certain things seems like a really huge thing to overcome...
But all in all, it´s possible to get hosting, it´s possible to get a domain and it´s possible to promote shit even if you are not 18 yet.

I know people here are often not really giving a fuck about your age but it can be pretty shitty to not be 18 sometimes, i know that.
But you need to remember that there always is a way Don´t have money to invest? Sell some of your shit, help the neighbors, get a small job besides school. Need paypal or signing up to something which requires you to be 18? Ask relatives or friends who are 18.

The most important thing is: Stop spending money on useless teenage shit. Fuck partys, fuck brand clothes, fuck all that shit (I am not saying to drop all kind of enjoyment you have... But be aware of money eating habits of yours). Since you are in the marketing business so you should be able to recognize where the biggest "money leaks" are in your life. Every bit of cash you have is available to be invested. You still have a lot of time left, so go out there and use it for a brighter future.

Life is short and in the end you die.
    Work hard play hard!

You're such a bully! If you're going to be talking about teenagers don't discriminate the nineteen year olds!

How would you describe success? anyway?

I'm pretty sure the definition varies from person to person, perhaps one person's $3/day "success" might not do it for you while it does for the other.

Me too bro, I hate people like that, even out of IM. But $10 a day would be incredible for a kid like me, but nothing to brag and boast about.
