Of course, I'll probably end up paying taxes. But I was told that they won't know what transactions take place in my bank account nor will they hunt me down. Plus from what I'm reading website sales generally fall under a different tax bracket even in the US based on these articles I'm reading and from the person that bought my site.

Overall, I'm taking it a step at a time. By the time I need to pay taxes, I should be earning money again to pay them... Hopefully haha.

Exactly! Keep going who knows one day you might sell another site for $300k. It's not too difficult.

I don't recommend having only "Pros" but you could call it Highlights or Key Features if you don't want to do pros and cons.

Personally, If you write the review well enough explaining everything and using the right CTA at the right time you won't need to even worry about having them. They aren't all that necessary and I do them when I want if I can be bothered to do so.

Thanks for reading and supporting my journey!

    Thank you very much!
So you do a CTA in your review text? In addition to the button text?

Hey mate congrats on the sale! I think you may have missed my question - do you ever target keywords with volumes around 20 / 40? I've got some keywords that show up with 0 results when using the allintitle operator and wonder if they are worth building on.

Not OP, but I have seen many people who has said that they targeted keywords that tools said had 0 searches and have ended up getting thousands of page visits each month.

I think the reason for it is that that specific way of asking the question might not have significant searches, but all the variants combined do. Because of the variety eywords up through the cracks of SEO specialists and if you target those keywords, you might end up with a lot of visits.

I don't see anywhere in the thread that for how much you sold it if I'm not wrong.
Now you got enough knowledge on how to take sites to next level and make living by selling sites for $xxxxxx.
All the best for feature endeavors and let us know when you start another journey.

Yes, might is the word. No guarantee. I've done it in the past and the results varied a lot.

Following your thread. I've recently obtained a site doing about $1k a month, and I'm interested in ramping it up to $10k a month.

Do you silo with this url structure: domain.com/level1/level2/article-keyword
    or just domain.com/article-keyword
    is enough? Thank you!

    Update

I've been off for the weekend. And I plan to take a few days off for the rest of this week to celebrate my anniversary so no updates for the week.

So far site 2 has been picking up keywords every few days. And I'll try to order a number of articles for it by the end of next week so that by the end of the month I'll have at least 100k words ready to load on that site. For my other sites that I plan to build I'm still mind mapping content and keywords.

Will update if I get any work done.

If the product is a high ticket item and I'm talking about prices upwards of $1200 I'd go for it. Otherwise, it's not worth the effort.

I didn't post the exact sales figures in the thread. But it's in the 60s.

I won't be starting a new journey, I'll try to keep this one going as things should start picking up as we time goes on. Plus I haven't hit the 10k a month mark yet so...

Me too.. I tried a lot but I kept trying regardless of motivation as I knew I wanted 10k or more per month and what better way to do it?

I tend to go for the first way. However, I haven't gone more than 2 levels down so far to keep my URLS short. But in future sites where I do best of, reviews, how tos, and answers I'll probably go three levels down.

Regardless, maintaining topical relevancy is the key and interlinking posts is often good enough if your site is about one specific topic. The only time you'd need silos is when you get really large and branch in different topics.

I've found that some sites that used to have levels in their URLs have started using just the keyword url (without levels) recently.
For example, a few people in SplishSplash's thread about silo wrote that momslovebest.com is a site that uses the exact silo method that he describes (with pages listing all articles for a topic, etc). And I've found that in older articles they did use a couple of levels in their URLs, but in the newer articles they only use the keyword URL without levels, like backlinko does. So probably short URLs work better now.

The URL structure topic is really complicated these days. I think we're all starting to become superstitious as to what works and what doesn't on it. In all the results that ranked in my niche, there is always a mix of these two URL structures. One is not really more than the other in the real sense.

I have a blog in women clothing niche. I have added amazon banner ads in the top of the article. My conversion rate is only 1% for ~$50 products.

I dont think that adding links to amazong products will work. Maybe it is better to add imges linked to amazon products. If yes then how many per article? What is the best place to add images?
