Hey guys,

I was just wondering if anyone has had success promoting ringtone's on youtube after they started muting videos? Have any of you been able to get around them muting the video?

I killed this method last year, was awesome. I'm thinking about trying it again.

I was thinking about playing the first 10 seconds of the song and then cutting into 10 seconds of a different song telling them to go ringtoneoffer.com

I'd repeat this through out the video...this way its broken up. And of course adding a minute+ of non related (non copyrighted) video at the end.

I'm gonna try this.

Has anyone here gotten around the copyright?

You can use Audacity to change the frequency of the song. It will get by the filter, but comes out sounding like ass. You will still get muted for having 10 second clips.

try using a key changer software to shift it up or down a key or two? there are also software that allow you to slow down a song or speed it up. I don't know how Youtube goes about deciding to mute videos, so this may or may not help.
