Success with AI generated content?

May or may not work. Depends on a lot of factors. But getting nuked by google someday is a definite.
 
I had a website that was generating pretty decent amount of money every single month. I won't disclose the amount, but it's something a lot of people earn monthly over here working 9-5.

All the content on it was AI generated with a little tweaks here and there from my side. A few months ago, it was hit by one of the google core updates and the traffic has been declining ever since. It barely get any traffic now :weep:

Can I have some more details? How did you earn money? Adsense, CPA, Amazon etc.
Was it hit before March? Or after?
Did you buy backlinks or other kind of "boost"?

I did spend some money on buying backlinks. The most amount of money I spent on a single backlink was from Wikipedia.

For monetization, I was using Ezoic (it pays better than adsense but gets your website slower). It was hit from the march update.

Ok, so was hit with the updated released specifically to detect sites with AI.
But, on the other hand, you had purchased backlinks, an illegal practice therefore.
I plan to start a few sites (the highest possible number) with AI, but I will not buy anything, no backlinks, maybe some social signals from Facebook, Pinterest, Reddit and Tumblr on seoclerk, like 15k social signals for 5$.
In any case, even if the site is penalized after 6-7-8 months, there has been a good profit and it is possible to make a new one, and continuing like this forever.

Backlinks are not the issue here. I buy them from trusted sellers and I have purchased backlinks for my other two sites as well (from the same seller) and they are still performing quite good. AI might have been the reason or maybe something else. My other two sites are constantly performing better and better every passing month, so I don't stress on what I have already lost but rather focus on what I still have :)
 
AI-generated content can succeed on Google, with examples of sites gaining significant traffic from thousands of posts.

Many have seen success with AI contents, but at the same time there are lot of websites not even seen single traffic from google organic.

You need to make sure the content quality even its AI-generated ones

Somehow, yes. I publish hundreds of articles everyday (multi site) and got some traffic, but recently, pages aren’t indexing like before.
 
I always use AI generated content but always proofread it before posting and it works for me.
At scale, it should work over and over if you just keep building new sites and don't care about loosing some.
