Every once in a while Mickyfu will be serious. When he is, you should listen.
Do 'special private links', 10 Web 2.0s, 100 Social Signals, and 200 Wiki Links Rank a KW? Heck NO!
It depends on niche and what you are competing against.
The market place has some big players, and a lot of wanna be big players.
A real SEO service will need to look at your site and KWs before they give you a quote if you are looking for rankings. Other wise, you are out sourcing work. When outsourcing, some is manual, some is automated. You need to know what out sourcing you need to rank a site.
Guides are on BHW for what can rank a site. It really comes down to testing. Put up a free blog and test.
Out of what I have used, I boil it down to what I want from that service. For bulk and diverse link pyramids, I like Greg's Link Lure. These are not super high quality, but out sourcing them for a specific purpose and looking for bulk just to get some traction, I used it.
A seller here has bulk web 2.0s with optional tier two and three. I have used it. I think it is called Simple Solutions. For the service I liked the web 2.0s to over 100 posts and 10 pages, with keep detail taken to the KWs to target. It was a lot of work, but it was an automated solution which would have required a lot of work on my end. I like this service quite a bit.
I also have used Link Essence. Posting, some manual, to a diverse platform for me to diversify on 'business' sites to get my raw URL out before I did serious link building.
I have used 7th Amigos web 2.0s. Good quality, and it is worth outsourcing that work as it would cost me more than $1 - $2 to build a manual 2.0.
Some stuff along the way has been junk, granted. I wont mention those. The reason is, either here, Fivver, SEO Clerks, or any other medium to buy work, most people are buying a 'Package' they expect to do the heavy lifting. All SEO you buy is out sourcing work. If you are not sure what you are doing, you will throw away money.
To rank a site, it has been, and always will be a combination of:
- Onsite
- Backlinks
- Social Signals
- Content
If your onsite sucks, your back links suck, content sucks, have no social signals or social presence, you will struggle to rank. The biggest websites which are 'white hat' build trust in their niche and people come back to the site to learn more later on. Their content covers a topic, onsite is good because SE's know what the site is about and it has a plethora of LSI and Long Tail KWs in the articles and have volume to help rank plus inner linking, they get great back links from a variety of high quality mediums such as Huff Post, CNN, etc, and people share their stories on Social Media.
The best value, and most efficacious service on BHW is the service which is purchased by a person who knows SEO and knows what KWs to target. Every service has its purpose. Some are worse than others, some will not help much. If you know what you are missing to rank a site, a 50 service can give you a little boost to get you to the top. If you have nothing, a 50 service will never get you to the top.
Just my 0.02.
