Submitting Joomla RSS feeds to directories

I wanted to submit my RSS feeds from my Joomla site to RSS directories, but I found out that urls in the rss are like "section/category/article" but it should be like "http://sitename.com/section/category/article" Any idea how to change it? or do I have to use an extension?
