Hello guys,

I know for sure that lately they put antipiracy messages within a subliminal audio. Hypnotica does, so is Brainsync, Holosync....

1.0
I was wondering if anyone of you knows how to remove those antipiracy messages from an audio track.
1.1
What software do you use (Adobe Audition, Sound Forge)?
1.2
Moreover, if you do know how can i "listen" to the subliminal messages within the track. How can i locate them, edit them, remove them?

2.0
If you the musicfrom Brainsync, and you wanna use it as a backtrack so you create and enter your own subliminal messages:

2.1 How do you do that? How do you isolae the music only?
2.2 How do you remove the subliminal messages (affirmations) from the track?

Thanks guys

I think you should first visit a psychologist and THEN you can think about removing subliminal messages from CDs.

there were a lot of experiments done on subliminal advertising.

bottom line was basically, most don't work.

Yeah I read that too but then I got to thinking...

Isn't that exactly what they would want us to think if they found it did work?

Um... someone removed my post and I am not exactly sure why...

Anyways I think he's talking about some music that has subliminal messages in the song for anti-piracy.

hah

yeah - these were done at universities though. not marketing companies.

there are some good ones though. Its best when they're combined with magic tricks, performance art, deception, and psychology - Like Derren Brown does.

he's my hero

you can watch lots of his stuff on youtube

couple of my favorite experiments from university:

• Two groups of students were asked to unscramble sentences. The students in Group A were given rude words like: "aggressively," "bold," "rude," "bother," "disturb," "intrude," and "infringe." The students in Group B were given polite words like: "respect," "considerate," "appreciate," "patiently," "yield," "polite," and "courteous." After the test, the students were unknowingly placed in a situation in which they had to interrupt a conversation in order to accomplish a task. The students in the "rude group" interrupted after about five minutes. Surprisingly, 82 percent of the students in the "polite group" never interrupted at all! - Research by John Bargh of New York University.

• Black students taking a graduate entrance exam, who were merely asked to write down their race before taking the test, got half as many questions correct, as those black students who were simply given the test. - Research by Claude Steele and Joshua Aronson of the University of Texas.

Oh no, this must be the successor to standard DRM, what will we do after Microsoft and Apple start getting on this??? ;)

I read something about subliminal advertising a long time ago... the stuff where they just flash a frame that's like "buy coke" "pee your pants" "kill" it doesn't work, but certain images and stuff flashing about something a person is already talking about will. Like if someone is telling you how great coke is and you're already interested in what they're saying certain messages can be flashed that will strengthen the impact, but there's no way you can just be programmed to do something that's contrary to what you would normally do. Just like you can't hypnotize someone to do something they wouldn't normally do.

Give the human brain a little credit.

If someone is talking about Coke and Coke is flashed on a screen wouldn't it be more practical to just have coke up on the screen? You know like a regular TV commercial? I think that's what they're doing nowadays.

Subliminal messaging theory was invented for brain programming.
As it stands it does not work because the will is stronger then message.
It does work if you break the will. Torture etc.
It also works for marketing but more because of repetitive recognition.

For instance subliminal messaging for anti piracy doesn't work.
Because the will is to download.
But say you want to buy cola.
Did you ever wonder why coca cola is still making commercials when so many buy it because they "like it"?
It's because you buy it because you know it.
For example you hear coca cola on the radio after that you see it on tv you recognize it and store it in your memory.
When your in the store you recognize it in a fraction of a second and go for it.
90% of the people either go for pepsi, coca or the cheapest brand but there first glance at the products go to coca cola.

strange how the Coke story is so popular

seems like everyone has heard of it.

=========

In 1957, market researcher James Vicary claimed that quickly flashing messages on a movie screen, in Fort Lee, New Jersey, had influenced people to purchase more food and drinks. Vicary coined the term subliminal advertising and formed the Subliminal Projection Company based on a six-week test. Vicary claimed that during the presentation of the movie Picnic he used a tachistoscope to project the words "Drink Coca-Cola" and "Hungry? Eat popcorn" for 1/3000 of a second at five-second intervals. Vicary asserted that during the test, sales of popcorn and Coke in that New Jersey theater increased 57.8 percent and 18.1 percent respectively.[18][21]
However, in 1962 Vicary admitted to lying about the experiment and falsifying the results, the story itself being a marketing ploy.[22][23] An identical experiment conducted by Dr. Henry Link showed no increase in cola or popcorn sales.[21] A trip to Fort Lee, where the first experiment was alleged to have taken place, would have shown straight away that the small cinema there couldn't possibly have had 45,699 visitors through its doors in the space of 6 weeks. This has led people to believe that Vicary actually did not conduct his experiment at all.[21]

the guy was good at marketing to marketers - thats for sure

lol

i bet if he were alive today, he would be on BHW. :D

Well, coke was a bad example. Speeches played on video would have been a better example. I won't attempt to butcher the original article by trying to explain what I read over a year ago in detail.

For some instances, subliminal messages can be good
Under Obama, not so much. But if the question is this:
Can we unsubliminate audio tracks within songs?
Keep that question to yourself.

You're better off not messing with that kind of thing.
Or else you'll probably get raped in prison.
Underwear-guy has the right idea (your subliminal message can be read vertically in this post)
Lucky we have
Obama to
Lead us to freedom.

First of all, thank you all for your replies

Most likely i didnt frame my questions right:

I want to do the following:

I have downloaded holosync, brainsync and other stuff. I want to remove their subliminal messages and put MY OWN. Just use their music as background.

I know how to do record my own msgs and insert them into the audio clip.

I need your help ion the following:

1. How to locate the subliminal msgs into the audio track. Even when i boost the db level it is almost imposible to locate them.

2. does anyone know of any kind of software that you load the clip, and you can "see", the vocals (lyrics). I used Neuro Progr 2 and it doesnt give you the vocals.

After searching around i found at a forum that there is such a program, but the thread was toooo old and the guy who posted it was banned.

3. so if someone has any experience with sound engineering [Audition, soundforge], might be able to help us out here.

Thanks guys
