Subdomain masking and forwarding

I was wondering if anyone knew of a site that I could transfer my domain name to and it would allow me to create subdomain's and mask them and forward them.

Like i have mydomain.com thats forwarding to myotherdomain.com
It's masked so they always see mydomain.com

I am looking to do that with subdomains.... like this and most importantly needs to be masked....

something.mydomain.com forwarded and masked to myotherdomain.com/something

. I have found this feature on some sites but you have to have webhosting with them, which I don't want. I just want a domain name service that allows me to create subdomains that forwards and masks to a specified file on another page

or if this was possible

mydomain.com/something masked and forwarded to myotherdomain.com/something

I don't need webhosting, cuz I already have it. Just need the domain name forwarding features

crap I just realized i clicked the wrong thread to post, it should be in the thread above this one... sorry!!

Just go to zoneedit.com, change out your nameservers, add the subdomain, forward it to the domain.com/folder and click the cloak button. It won't cost you anything and it will give you the results you are looking for.

that site was a little hard for me to navigate/understand. but I am a complete newbie when it comes to nameservers, forwarding and stuff.

So, I made a zone for the domain to get my name servers. I changed my name servers on the place that i bought my url from. I then added domains and clicked cloak.

It didn't work

Says I may have to wait for an hour though if the ISP records the ip of name server or something. Also it asks me to buy a 3rd back up name server cuz the first 2 may not work sometimes, like as a "just in case".

Is there a way I can test a server?

Or is there any other service like this one, just a bit more user friendly, that anyone knows of that can create subdomains and forward and mask them?

I will check to see if its working in an hour, cuz I am running to the store, but I just don't really want to have to buy another name server. If I have to i will, but I want to make sure everything is cloaked and forwarded as it should be first....
