I have a good friend who has a successful online business providing a specific type of service to business owners all across the U.S. He has an affiliate program that he has invited me to be a part of. I would receive $125.00 for each sale.

Instead of simply selling my friend's services myself I am considering creating some type of "sub-affiliate" program where I recruit people under me to sell and share in a piece of the $125.00 per sale payout.

I'd like to hear anyone's opinion on this type of setup and specifically:

    1. What would be the best way to set something like this up (i.e., particular software to buy? best places to recruit? how much to pay out?, etc.)?

    2. Do you currently do something like this now? How well has it worked out and what problems/challenges have you faced?

You get the idea...I guess I would become an Affiliate Manager. My friend knows that I'm thinking of doing this and is totally ok with it in case you are wondering.

Thanks for any help in advance.

when people quickly get wind that they are getting less commission by going with the 'sub' instead of the main seller they might not be happy and look to change to sell for the main seller.

Welcome to the 21st century. This is pretty much what every network does... its a brokered offer.
