So as most of us know that 301 redirects can transfer PR.

Let's say I have a pr6 site that is worthless (well other than it being pr6), Can I 301 redirect to another site of mine to transfer the pr

What happens if you 301 Multiple pr3s to one site? Does it go higher ? say pr4 or pr5?

need to transfer same saite to get actual results. other than that no use of redirecting with 301 to user or visitor. That is what matt cutts is saying.

Well, just like other things, PR transfer is also a axiom. As far as I've personally seen, the PR does get transferred, because the backlinks to the original URL now point to the other site.

    Maybe that should answer you.

My experience is that 301s work for a short bump, but then the juice wears off. Better to put some content on the PR3 domain and build an in content anchor text link tot he site you want to promote.

Completely agree, just put some good articles with contextual links in the middle and don't have links pointing to any other sites... that way you have a few "black hole" contextual anchor text links pointing to your site.

In my experience 301 might transfer all PR, but they might not. If seen a 301 pass on all the PR before, then other times its passed none, or only a small bit.

Matt Cutts also said redirect might not pass all PR:
