Stupid WordPress Redirect Problem--HELP!

Hey guys,

I accidentally redirected my wordpress site (my.sub.domain/wordpress/) to something else that is currently a domain parker. it doesn't sound bad, but i can't get to my wordpress admin anymore, since whenever i try to go there it's redirected!

what can i do?!

sorry for the noob question, but i'm really stuck.

i can't redirect it back, since it's the wp-settings that is redirecting it

when i try to log in, i am redirected to a site that is not my blog...

Cpanel and fix everything from there...

How did you do the redirect in the first place?

Do you have cpanel access? Do you have access to your domain parker?

If you did the redirect with cpanel, I believe you can delete the redirection...I think

So edit the wp-settings via ftp.

can't you just access via ftp or the mysql database?

i can access wp-settings.php via ssh

ill try scouring that for the redirect code

I know this is a little late, but you can always visit your site using the ip address and the username you gave it.. This is listed in the Cpanel

like
123.124.34.56/username/wp-admin or what ever page you need to go to

are you able to access wordpress login page? if so use chrome/firefox and find form that posting to your redirect url just change to original wordpress and put login details and login but you will be redirect to again redirected domain but goto your orignal domain and appened with /wp-admin tadda, you will be in your admin panel change url there or change with cpanel (phpmyadmin)

Did not realise you were the admin and that there was a time limit to answer or post to a post that is STILL OPEN..

It was put here because others have visited many times since this was posted and the info I put Might just help someone else..

So if you dont like it...

Go on with bumping very old threads, and some day it shall be noticed by the mods, then explain your views to them.

Bumping of old threads is not appreciated on the forum. Look in google for:

Well did as you suggested aand cant find anywhere that it says I cant reply to an old post. Many wanted it stopped but many wanted it to continue.
AND I am NOT bumping a post of mine, just adding to the info related to that post...

So unless you can show me where is says I cant add to old posts, then.....
