I'm kinda new to using Firefox, and just wondered why a web page I made is fine in internet explorer, yet every apostrophe I typed (') shows as a question mark in a weird black box in firefox. How to I fix this in a html (hand written) web page?

    Thank you!

that's why website developers have to write code for all the stupid ass browsers so that they display the webpage exactly the same. and believe me when i say that it's no easy task!!

I gave up making my sites cross browser compatible as I'm not great with CSS/site design and now I simply use PHP to detect the browser type to display a different page for each browser. There is probably lots of flaws in doing it this way but I don't really care as it's easier for me :)

You mean that the page displays funny because firefox is missing a plugin? What's the quickest, easiest way to fix this on a static html sales page?

    Thank you!
