I know I was stupid but couldn't let my paypal account go

I had a trade with a scammer on paxful he scammed me total $300 on paypal

I originally had a trade of $200 worth btc with him

After I sent $200 via paypal donation, he made a fake screenshot of him receiving only $190.9

( I had my transaction record to prove I really paid him $200)

Then he asked me to send him my btc wallet address

After that he claimed paxful didn't allow him to send btc worth under $300

Therefore he asked me to send him $100 more via donation on his another paypal account

After I sent him the $110 he fake another screenshot about paxful didn't let him release the $300 worth btc

He tried to pretend he's not a scammer but he gave me two useless options which indicates he won't refund

I realized I was scammed

AND DO YOU KNOW WHAT'S THE WORST?

I opened dispute on paypal tried to claim back my money

HOWEVER AS A VICTIM MY ACCOUNT GOT SUSPENDED

why isn't the scammer's account suspended but mine????!!!!!!

Paypal not only closed my dispute case but also closed my account permanently WTF ???!!!!!!!!

How can I get back my $300 & paypal account???

Paypal closes accounts permantly when flags as high risk. For sure scammer account got suspended as well. The lesson is to not trust anyone and send mone y via donation mate. Contact Paypal directly to learn the exact reason they closed your account, may there is a way to recover it.

closed my account permanently
Paypal has PERMANENTLY closed / suspended your Paypal account (as per what YOU have mentioned)
How can I get back my $300 & paypal account???
Once PAYPAL has PERMANENTLY closed / suspended your Paypal account, then NOWADAYS, there is NO WAY that Paypal will unsuspend (or restore) such an account. And as per what has been explained by you, there is no way to get back that US$300 or whatever amount back from Paypal.
NOTE : Temporarily limited Paypal account is another story. Here, you are talking about a PERMANENTLY suspended Paypal account.
What you can possibly do, is contact Paxful and report that seller (trader) as a scammer, by providing all the proof.
But, Paxful being Paxful, most probably their support would reply "We cannot do anything if you have acted upon fake screenshots, etc". However, do give it a try.
Take this as a learning curve and just move on.
You have a WTB post about it. So, please do not commit another "stupid" mistake.

I think it's against Paypal TOS to do such trades, so it's over.

Paxful is full of scammers. I'm sorry about your loss.

I don't think there's anything you can do now. If you had sent the funds through your card attached to PayPal then you might be able to pull back the funds talking with your bank etc. However, it all depends on what country you reside in.

Yes, even I never used it I know it, as years before, a scammer try to send me his Paxful profile and said blah blah, at the time I saw his reviews, all faked, I know one thing:

this website is shit

You went to localbitcoins and no paypal exchange. Then you went to Binance P2P, and also no paypal exchange. Then you went to paxful, and its full of paypal and credit exchanges, and you didn’t feel anything is wrong!

Well, its a good lesson that if anything is too good to be true, its probably isn't. We all experienced it once or more, so, no shame in that.
