stumbled on a web page by searching for an email, and it's 21,000 emails just listed there

    I googled an email address and a page come up that has 21,000+ emails just there for the taking, why would this be? genuinely curious, can't post the link because I'm still "new".... if anyone wants it for whatever reason, just pm me

    That is sweet..! What kind of list is that? Business contacts? consumers? You could possibly try and push a service or a product depending on the type of people you have email ID's to.

    i have no idea what kind of emails they are, and I'm not trying to make anything off it, it's not a trap, if I could post a link, I would but still too new, just trying to share it, somebody PM me if nothing else just to look at it and tell me what they are

    After seeing the Admiral up there I'm thinking it's a trap too. Imagine a lawyer that specializes in suing people that send spam. Said lawyer creates 21,000 email accounts and leaves them online so when someone like you or me email blasts them all he has 21,000 new cases. Not sure what the penalty for sending unsolicited spam emails is but even if it's $1 an email you're F'ed in the A. The risk isn't worth the reward here dude.

    I love how a random list of emails has turned into this big trap to sue someone for spamming 21,000 god knows how old emails...
