    Hello BHW!

This is my very first post. Very stoked on this forum.

Before I dive into things I just want to say a few words about myself. I have been involved in web design for the past 3 years. I am totally self taught and have opened up my own web dev company called Netlink Studio.

A few months ago I stumbled on someone's journey to 10k a month. This journey had me thinking about niche marketing. I found 2 great related keywords, with a combined 120,000 unique searches per month. The top 3-4 competitors in this niche are outdated sites with 0 on page SEO. There are a lot of results for these keywords (3.9Million) however, on Google keyword planner the keywords come up as low competition.

So, one thing led to another and I decided to build a beautiful site, set up analytics, all the social media accounts and have created 6 youtube videos with plans to create well over 50 videos. The top youtuber in this category has 8million views in 1 year...

In addition to the possible revenue from the youtube videos and adsence on the website. I have found an amazing complimenting product I would sell on the site that would net me 30-40$ per sale.

I have come thus far but I have now encountered a road block which I am having great difficulty over coming. Backlinking!!!! I have read hundreds of articles and guides and I know not to buy those crappy link building packages on fiverr. But I just can't seem to grasp/ have time to build a solid backlinking funnel. What I have been doing is using a tool to discover the backlinks to my competitors, and emailing those sites to include a link to my site, (emailed 50 people got 1 response)...

    Basically my questions are this...

    1) Should I find a partner to do the backlinking? How can I ensure he does not steal my idea?
    2) If I were to pay for some backlinking from BHW, what packages would be best? How much should I budget monthly?
    3) How long does it take for a new site to rank somewhat for the SEOed keywords? (get ranked at least above 100th place without backlinking)
    4) Will my youtube content (all properly SEO optimized) Slowly rank up on it's own over time or do I need to perform some backlinking for the videos?

Any help would be much appreciated.
Thank you all for getting me thus far!

Low competition on the keyword planner tool means that nobody is buying those keywords. It suggests that the keywords aren't worth that much to adwords advertisers.

Do backlinking yourself for now. Make some web 2.0s, keep the account details so you can delete them if need be.

Don't try to rank the videos using fake views etc. Youtube is really cracking down on them right now and you want these to last. Just match your title and keywords to what people are searching for then just leave them.

Well, if you want to team up for back linking, hit me up - Skype AndyTSH or PM, whichever works for you, maybe we can figure out something.

You should probably keep it to yourself.

You have to experiment and find out.

It depends on the site and on the keywords. Anywhere from 3 months to 117 years if you do everything Matt Cutts tells you to do.

The videos need likes, views and quality social signals. Just leaving them there won't do anything.

I have a good head on my shoulder when it comes to business. I have a Bachelors in Commerce and have had a few successful businesses in the past... I know deep down inside this is a good idea, it's just the backlinking that I am stumbling with...

    1) Should I find a partner to do the backlinking? How can I ensure he does not steal my idea?
You don't, you can't trust anyone.
    2) If I were to pay for some backlinking from BHW, what packages would be best? How much should I budget monthly?
Depends on how much you have to spend.
    3) How long does it take for a new site to rank somewhat for the SEOed keywords? (get ranked at least above 100th place without backlinking)
    Depends on the competition
    4) Will my youtube content (all properly SEO optimized) Slowly rank up on it's own over time or do I need to perform some backlinking for the videos
If your youtube content gets views then yes it will slowly rank on its own, back links will help speed it up.
