I have a forum which is fully seo'd and is constantly updated by rss feeds on some forums. Has members but some reason its ranking pr 0. Is this because im sandboxed? I am located in google ONLY when i enter full url.com in ". I used alot of bank links a year ago and to be fair as it seems this may of had a negative impact on the pr (but i can still be found by entering url in ". Its been over a year tho and i don't wanna change url as it may seem like a duplicate content site as all pages are indexed.

    What can i do.

I assume that pr is overall rep of a website. If high, higher chance to position high on keywords.

also i have 4 new websites/ domains for my business, best way to rank them? High pr links? Directory submission?

Regarding both queries, shall i like on anchor keywords of http:// link or domain name without extension. Also direct to main page?

Build High PR backlink manually & use google RSS feed. you should also target other search engine.

I'm not an SEO pro by any means, but you may have some luck using Google Webmaster Tools. From what I understand you could use their disavow tool on any links out there that you think might be impacting your SEO negatively. Another option like you mentioned is creating a new domain name. But you shouldn't have to worry about duplicate content because Google Webmaster Tools has an option to deindex the entire site. Once it's de-indexed, then you should be able to put the content on other domains.

Something else to keep in mind when creating backlinks is that you could get hundreds of backlinks, but if they're all coming from other PR 0 domains, then you could still end up only having a PR of 0. Having one PR 4 domain is better than 10,000 PR 0 backlinks I would think.

PR doesn't help you rank, it helps your inner links be more trusty, but it doesn't help you rank - I don't see point in increasing your PR.
