Hey guys, I've been on here for quite some time picking up tidbits of useful info here and there and I decided to get into making some money sites. Well, that's an oxymoron for me since all I end up doing is paying for hosting every month and not making a penny... I have been concentrating on building up my site more right now than putting CPA offers etc on it so I can't complain much, but now the traffic is coming and I need some way to monitize it...

I've been using SENuke on it a bit, and the RSS feed tool has helped a lot in conjunction with the rest of it, but I think I need to buy some blast backlinks or something to get it higher in SERPS.

On a final note, I have been looking at things such as email submits, or zip code submits as they have a high payout, and if the ad is enticing enough like "win an ipad2" or something then maybe I could convert that... I dunno but this is where I need help :(

tl;dr = been building up my site, paying hosting each month not making anything, need some help with monetizing everything to at least break even so I can watch my site grow cost-free.

If you PM me I will link you to my site, I am just curious if I could get a hand with some ways to monetize it... hell even just enough to break even with $8 hosting a month so that I can sell the site, or else who knows, if the site gets big then thats awesome too!

    Thanks for your time guys,
    ~ DemonCrest

First advice: Don't be skeptical if something will work or not before you have started it well enough. Being skeptical in the first place kills it all.

Yep, don't be discouraged. The hardest part is getting traffic in the first place; if you can get traffic, you'll always make money. Instead of getting discouraged because you're not making money (how could you if you don't have ads up yet?), feel excited because you're getting traffic, whereas previously you had none.

You don't mention what your site is about, but I would put up CPA offers for stuff that is related to your niche. Keep experimenting with ad placement and particular offers until you find a combo that works. Track everything so you know what works and what doesn't.

You could also try adsense in the short term if your site is adsense friendly.

You only fail if you give up!

Well guys, here's my stat-press stats for now:

I've had the site up for about ... 5 or 6 months now... I just need to figure out something to do to monetize it, because right now it's a sinkhole that swallows $10 a month!

I agree with CPA offers as I have looked into them before, but I know that most people couldnt care less about them. My niche is to do with "club-life", like bartending etc, sorry I forgot to disclose that in the first post.

Hopefully someone might have some good ideas for how I can get this rolling and if those stats are even significant enough as of yet.

PS: I have done some SEO on it thats why theres a big spike of Spiders, but I think if someone was able to do some real thorough SEO to my site it would even end up better than it is now.

If you haven't placed adsense on your site yet I'd try adsense. Here are some other suggestions (as I dont know your site I am just guessing what could work).
If your site looks nice and looks professional you could also do some offline marketing - ring up some clubs and ask if they are interested in an ad spot on your site. Or create some sort of directory on your site where you add clubs from your country and charge money for "featured clubs" (they get a better placement, get a detailed review, etc.). Or you could try affiliate programs, this is what i found just looking for "bartending affiliate" --> makemoneybartending (dot) com
Maybe you can also find some related clickbank offers... something like mixing cocktails how to etc. Depending on the contents of your site and your visitors some dating ebooks from clickbank might work as well (after all most people visit clubs to get to know someone). Hope this helps.

Whats the point of monetizing the site if there is not much traffic? Even if you have a 100% conversion rate but there is 0 visitors there will still be no sales...
