I'm just curious, I'm sure I'll come out of it eventually, but I want to know what YOU guys would do in my position. So I"ve been stuck at position 4 for about a week or two. I've been continually building blog links, edu links, high pr profile links, etc. I cannot seem to move from this position. I"m now building links to my back links, lol. I think I need to target higher pr back links. When you're stuck at a position so close to number 1, what would you do?

It's an Algo, of course it can be gamed.

That is exactly what I would be doing.

Join the club. I'm targeting a competitive niche and I can't get my site to budge. It may move 1 position for a few days then go back. And I've been building tons of links and tons of links to those links.

Google has just been a pain in my ass since the last update when it comes to breaking the top 3. I'm going back to old school white hat buffer sites. All unique content built out and SEO'd well. Once that's done I'm going to be doing similar things to what Bass's link pushing does. In fact I'm already using some of his link pushes on my buffer sites.

Same position here, been stuck at #4 for close to a month. Been absolutely hammering my secondary sites with backlinks but I just can't budge; frustrating is too smaller word at the moment!
