    Hi all!

I have a site in an unexploited niche, dealing with metaphysics. To give you an idea, think of something similar to astrology, but with a self-help twist. In the last few days I've managed to get to spot no. 1 for my main keyword that has about 10,000 searches monthly. Currently I'm getting 400 visitors a day, and increasing. I hardly even built any links to this site, it's just a good niche and I have quality content.

So I'm pretty thrilled about this, as this is my most popular site to date. But I'm having trouble monetising, although I've tried several methods. One of my main issues is that the site gives out information for free that a lot of my competitors have put in e-books and charge for. Part of my tagline is "free", which attracts a lot of visitors.

    So far I have tried:
Clickbank: I've made 3 sales in a week from around 700 hops. I don't know if this is a low or average conversion rate. There aren't that many good products for my niche.
Adsense: I tried this, but I don't get that many ads relevant to the niche. Low click-through rate, I have since taken the ads down.
Amazon: I have a banner with amazon related products. I plan on making blog posts reviewing products from Amazon, which I think will help a bit, but most of the products are inexpensive, so I wouldn't get much commission.

Judging from my Facebook likes, my visitors are mainly female, 20s to 30s. I get quite a few repeat visitors, and the average time spent on the site is 7 minutes, if that says anything.

I plan on writing my own e-book which I think could do fairly well, but until then, I kind of feel like I should be making more money from 400 visitors a day. Is there anything obvious I am missing? I know it's hard to give advice when the niche is not explicitly stated, but any little tips would be appreciated!

Every niche is different. While one niche can make you 4 digits a day with 100 visitors, others might not make even 3 digits a day with 1,000+ visitors a day.

Why not write an eBook and send them to those who opt-in to your newsletter. By providing good content and sending the link to the list you will gain their trust and "teach" them to click on links from day 1 xD

Then you can try and sell related products through CB or whatever or even create series of your own products and sell them? Perhaps, you can create a membership site and charge them on monthly basis and stuff ...

I know that affiliate marketing, just like marketing in general has changed from advertising to assurance and trust if you know what I mean :)

Judging from your data taken you can create either sales copy selling a product or you can contact advertisers looking for such traffic and negotiate a deal for ad space.
