Not the need, but if you understand business and you are good in something than it would be a waste not to open up another source of income for yourself.
If you feel that sharing knowledge on how to do things will be a threat to your method than you will get caught anyways sooner or later. The music market is a
US$11.45bn market and 10% of it is expected to be made by "streamers". Its a game where you never stop adapting and envolving and sharing stuff can help as well.
Also the more fish are in the tank the less likely it is for the individual to get caught.
So there are a lot of sides to that medal but i guess the "a bit off" comes from bad experience you made online, which is totally fine, just dont forget there are other opinions as well
