    Hi guys,

So, I would like to hear some tips & tricks on picking up high converting affiliate & CPA offers.

So far all my income (and i mean all from IM, not overall all lol) comes from AdSence. But I want to try my feet in CPA stuff.

I placed a few affiliate programs on my existing sites, but have to tell you, 3 weeks and no sale. I was choosing them
    - to match type of my traffic (for example travel programs for travel type of site etc.)
    - chosen those with high EPC
    - those with higher payout

So far no result. And on one of the offers I had about 500 clicks so far - gotta convert, yet - it's not.

Can you please share your thoughts on how YOU go about picking right affiliate / CPA offers and how YOU make them convert?

Please don't respond if you don't make at least $1,000/month with CPAs. Sorry, don't mean to be rude, I just want to avoid guessing thread. :)

Ask your affiliate manager. He will become your best friend when it comes to making money. Just call or email him and ask "what's hot right now?" Its really that simple.

That's how I started promoted ecigs about a year ago and made $1000/month. He even showed me examples of landing pages and where to get traffic. If you make money, they make money.

Neither the EPC nor the payout are good metrics to go by. Network EPCs are usually bullshit, and the payout is not really relevant (unless it's ridiculously low) - you'll make more with a $1 offer that converts 1:20 than a $2 offer that converts at 1:100, for example.

Things to do / check include:
    * Just look at the tour. If it looks like shit (would you sign up for it?) then don't promote it.
    * Join form should be above the fold.
    * Very short form or email / zip submits are the best.
    * Check where the conversion point happens - eg. first page, second page, when the surfer confirms their email addy etc. First page is the best IMHO.
    * Check the sales language - you want something that screams FREE FREE FREE and that has the nasty fine print way down the page in a small font that no one will notice. Don't promote offers that include anything prominent about "after purchase" - you want offers that appear to be completely free, and don't hint that the surfer has to buy / do anything to get their free shit.
    * Rotate multiple offers to find the gems - you just have to keep testing until you find the offers that make the most $/click for your traffic.
    * I hope you're geotargeting your traffic - pick the most relevant offers for your top countries and then promote any old shit for the rest, just as long as you're putting up ads for something that has the potential to make you $$$ for every country that you get traffic from.

Test, test, test, test and then do some more testing. You could be there all day trying to find the "right" offer and then finding out it doesn't convert for shit. So save time on that and just rotate loads of offers and take out the ones that aren't profitable.
