Hi there!

I was wondering what the best strategy is to grow followers and engagement on Instagram when you have money to invest in any type of strategy.
I have quite a big budget.
(No fake followers and only real interested followers from a certain country)

ask for niche related influencer to promote your IG, pay them based on their profile.

Then you have to opt for one of these 3 strategies, which can provide you a local audience :
- IG ads
- Mother/Child
- Influencers marketing

F/U also would be an option, but it's not possible to do it at scale. It would be a bonus.

Facebook ads, 1 cent cpc should be plausible for asian traffic. Maybe for USA as well.

Instagram, I'm no professional but I have experience. Here's a few tips from the things I did to get following up on a entertainment company's profile.

1 - Line up a lot of quality content

2- Begin posting on a frequent schedule (2x-3x daily best)

3- Also post a lot of 'reels' and some stories, and some IGTV clips. Reel draw a lot of views and are short slips.

4 - Get some News articles/ press put out with embeds. They can see what content gets shared by blogs.

5 - Buy NO fake followers. Those fake followers only hurt you. It truly is a plague IMO b/c they drastically kill your activity to follower ratio

6 - Now that you've got some movement going, buy shout outs from real influencers that you know have real fans/activity

7 - Get a bot to like the profiles of people in location/events related to your niche and people using Hash Tags from your target audience

I hope this helps my friend. Good luck Bro!

Great advice. I'm gonna follow it.

1. Stay away from SMM panels and don't buy any followers or likers
2. Post reels 1 per week
3. Post daily stories
4. Quality posts, 1-3 per week
5. HASHTAG RESEARCH - can't stress this enough
6. Don't recommend any kind of automation software, just go with a social media manager

Good luck!

If you have a good budget and want specific Geo-targeting then go with Instagram ads. With all other methods, you're going to get followers from other countries as well, no matter how hard the seller claims that he'll laser target your Geo.

It might just be my niche, but I've seen poor results in using IG ads compared to advertising on other relevant pages.

It's because you might have tried to get followers from T1 countries with the ads. They're much more expensive than T3

Or try to change your filters

I’ve tested Instagram ads quite a bit recently and $0.80 per follower was the lowest I was able to achieve. You can definitely get followers at scale using this method, but it’s a fairly expensive option in my opinion.

I'm currently testing Mass DM to grow profiles, and it is working for now.

Since you have the budget, the fastest way to grow your IG account by paying for IG shoutouts to meme pages or personal influencers. and running IG ads. Also following the previous comment, stay away from SMM panel or IG automation tools, better hire someone to become your social media manager. IG currently becomes very strict especially if you use IG automation software.

Do we need to use the most popular hastags or some with less posts?

Can you recommend a good place to look for shoutouts? I tried some services and clearly they had fake followers and it was money lost. Also boosting posts is not the same as IG ads probably? I never got any followers by boosting my content.

I have a rule I don't use hashtags that have 1mill+ posts. Then new users will post alot of content in a short amount of time and your post will get lost. With hashtags that are that not popular, your post will stay in the "recent posted" for a longer time, you might also get on the top post for that smaller hashtags as well, and you will win more on that. But that is my experience. Ofc if you have a big and/or great account that almost ranks for everything, you should go with bigger.

Influencers for sure. Since you are willing to spend a decent amount, I'd say you should work with macro and microinfluecers. While the former will have a huge following, the latter will have a small, but hyperengaged following. Macroinfluencer rates have shot up in the past year though. See what works best for you

Quality-consistent content.
Shoutouts from industry leaders.
Mother-Child Strategy(currently the best method).
Contests/Giveaways by tieing up with other big accounts.

Find similar niche relevant users with a similar following/engagement to your account and outreach for free shoutout exchanges so you both mutually benefit
