I give up. I typed up a post and it wasn't allowed by the automatic moderation but it didn't contain any selling, contact information, urls, swearing or giving thanks. I had changed words randomly, trying to guess at what it could be but still no joy. Can't someone give me a list of all the words that ARE available to post so that I can try and word something constructive out of them? :smash:

I can't find anything more definitive about what's wrong with my original post :(

Well, rather than try another post on a different thread you've decided to start you're own thread which means that the original post you were trying to make must be a great comment for you to get so annoyed. So now - I can't wait to read it.

    Hello cabbage:

Sorry, but the staff does not have a list of the words either. Probably the owner, Diamond Dave, is the only one who knows what they are. I will contact him and see if he can send me the list to my email address. Otherwise, if he PM's me, the text from the list will be blocked out as well.

If he sends me the list, I will put it on a graphic and make it available so that it can be viewed by the members.

    Cheers! - "Wiz"

Why would I have posted on the end of another thread? I wouldn't exactly be contributing to the thread if I did. Is the creation of 'your own thread' an activity restricted to the elite?

I was just trying to ask for guidance after explaining what I'd done so far.

Could have been. I was using Traffic Travis, Google and ClickBank. But then I changed them anyway and they can't be censored because this message contains them.

EDIT: Seems the Idiot Filter isn't concentrating on me at the moment so I'll retype my original post when I get back a little later. Which should please goldstrike4u.

I know there are some competitive forum names (not just domain names but title names) that have triggered such things in the past... It took me over a year to run into one of those... I can't imagine a post #4 of a newcomer encountering that...

I guess type it in an image and post the image and PM a mod to OK it with a comment for appropriateness then the Mods can work out why it wont go through as text.

Hi Wiz, shouldn't the list be confidential?
If everybody will be able to look at it people will know what words to avoid while posting. This will allow them to cloak sales threads.

I have new information regarding the list of censored/blocked words.
I inquired and was told that it is currently being edited and trimmed
down and it will be made available in the future.

That is all for now . . .

    Hello again.

I'll try again with a little introduction and hopefully it'll stick this time. Basically, I'm new. I've been reading up on internet marketing since I lost my job a couple of months ago. I've read enough to make my brain explode and then I came across blackhat stuff. Naturally that triggered another brain hemorrhage.

Since looking into everything, I've created a quick, one page website to promote an affiliate product. The webpage itself is ok according to Traffic Travis, who gives it an A+ as far as SEO is concerned. I've written three articles and published them to, I think, three sites, all rewritten. I'd like to know what are my options for doing next.

EDIT: I've just checked my backlinks on Yahoo site explorer, moments after submitting a few articles through Magic Article Submitter and now I have only 3 links instead of the 9 I had earlier. You can see I'm only making slow progress (because I don't have a clue :) ) but does anyone know why I should have dropped so many backlinks just now?

I've also, just today, submitted a duplicate article of one of my articles to a number of directories with Magic Article Submitter. Am I doing the right thing by sending out the same article? I thought it wouldn't harm because duplicate content isn't really an issue because I only want it for backlinks. Am I wrong to thing this?

I would also like to know the next step in using things like Twitter but can't seem to find any decent information. To bo honest, I don't really understand the ins and outs of twitter or any "web 2.0" stuff at all so would appreciate a quick breakdown if anyone feels inclined.

Oh, I've also created a few profile backlinks - well, I've created the accounts a few days ago and will revisit them in a week to drop my links. Is this necessary or should I have dropped the links while I was there. I've been doing this manually.

    All help greatfully recieved.
