It's amazing that some people are still joining everyday with a blatant disregard for the rules. So in short, all the little quips of "hey nice one",
"thanks, this is what I need", or "Cool, LOL" need to end. I really don't know how many times this is being said, but I don't even have to look for them anymore, we have plenty of members speaking up when you post this nonsense.

So if you want to go out of your way to say thank you. Make it heartfelt and informative.

Thank god i watched some guy who made well over 80posts who used 3 words only, each time, he is still here and i belive these people just do it to get post count, they should be banned.
I was gonna report it but thought he would give up. Guess not.

The tell-tale posts I hate seeing (and you see them on all forums that have minimum post requirements before download) are:

"Lemme see!"
"Looks interesting."
"Want this bad!"

....and finally

"Hmm"

This is the downside of requiring the 15 post minimum to access the download section. People are spamming just to gain access. I wish we could either eliminate the requirements altogether, or find a way to implement a "waiting period" of 3-7 days before new guys can access it. Until then, don't expect it to stop or even slow down.

Anyone here good enough with PHP to code a "waiting period" mod for the forum?

Having said this, I may be guilty of it...I'd have to check my first posts. But if I did, hopefully I said stuff that was slightly humorous like:

Damn, so much drama whilst I slave away at the real job. I agree that much of the short posts are just ot gain access to the d/l's. I'm sure whatever y'all work out will be for the best.
