How does this site rank? how this youtube video rank although he is fucking copyright materials? I stumbled on this website today and he is ranking for gazillion of keywords, can we all start looking at it and fuck it?

Stop these threads, there are thousands of topics here for how to analyze your competitors website. When you come across a site that you think is a good catch. analyze it yourself.

Don't say I am not ruining other people business by posting it to public forums. If you think it's a good idea to post other people websites why not post your best site and let us analyze it and learn from it?

    Kidding:p

But I guess you are right the other day I saw a thread about somebody asking about why this video on youtube with copyright material did not get caught and before you could say youtube this guy got banned from youtube.

    Disclaimer I agree with you.

To take the other side. Do you truly believe that with so few *active* members here at bhw you are hurting people by posting stuff you see? Lets say there are 10k active members here. Lets put a number to the internet. Idk lets us use 50million popular urls.
Obv these numbers are lol off. Ok now we as a group should ask does it do the 10k people more good to hide 1 persons site or does it do more good to show the 10k people a site and have great discussion? I mean really the numbers are so far apart that it could be fine. I am not into hurting people I am into learning stuff and inspiration.

Oh please. The internet is a source for information, this wont affect anybody and people that post links to other sites that they are analyzing just gets everyone involved in open conversation.

    Dont be such a scrooge.

Whats the difference of hundreds of people doing it by themselves individually or a small group of people like us in a public forum. If somebody was gonna screw another site over it is already in the process or soon to be by someone other than us.

Thats like saying businesses shouldn't share their income numbers or marketing methods.

I find your argument invalid :p

I think what OP is really saying is that this forum, being one stop to IM is closely watched by G, YT, FB and other likes. And OP's main concern of being outed is getting on the radar of those who can ban and destroy.

Most sites have adsense blocks as a source of income(even if not the main source), when you post to public forum the site will get huge increase in impressions and clicks and most probably will get banned.
When you someone post a youtube video that is using black hat technique the account will banned in a minute.
    these are just examples

Well for adsense there are options to protect against clickbombing through many methods. If the person was not smart enough to integrate something like that then it was bound to hit them one way or another once a site gets to certain traffic levels and a competitor gets jealous.

As for youtube i dont know what you mean by having an account banned in a minute bust most blackhat methods with youtube get slapped eventually so that just proves the person wasn't very wise to protect against possible influx of views or whatever.

Again this shouldn't be an issue.

BHW is far from small. Check the stats.

    Home Page:
I've had people out sites of mine when they were making 4 figures/day. Not very fun at all!

Although the good thing with SEO is, it is harder to replicate. I could show you how awesome it is that this site is ranking #1 for "payday loan" but that probably won't help you out that much (considering how hard it is to rank for that term).

I'd be more concerned about methods being outed than specific websites.
(Although in some cases when you out a website, it implicitly also outs the method the site is using)

I don't see the problem with it.
Okay, outing a copyrighted youtube video was wrong.
Outing a single page leadgen site that managed to trick adwords was wrong.
Those would harm the site owner.

But I don't see the problem with posting sites like these:
    http://www.blackhatworld.com/blackhat-seo/black-hat-seo/468022-website-banking-amazon.html
Since they're clearly whitehat, and doing so isn't going to harm them. No psycho is going to blast a website with a million scrapebox links just because he sees the link posted on BHW, and google isn't going to penalize it just because it was posted on a blackhat forum.

Also, People like Rand Fishkin and Yoast are much more notorious for outing websites ranking using blackhat methods. Aaron Wall even dissed Rand Fishkin for that more than once: http://www.seobook.com/seo-police

Post your best website here and then we talk about invalid arguments. Good point OP.
