Hey guys I don't know if you know but there is a new bill that will be passed on the 31st of May to raise all taxes on alcoholic beverages. I found out about it today and thought I would let everyone know. If you want to stop it so all of us do not have to pay more for alcohol check out the site below, you can send an email to your local representatives to let them know you are against it through the website below! Please do it so we wont have to pay more :p Thanks!

Edit: This is for United States people, sorry forgot to put it in title.

Yeah, that's that bill being spammed about on youtube by conservative activists... the bill really isnt about alcohol though, alcohol is just a considered funding source for the bill... at least that it is my understanding. It's some heath care bill which it being called socialistic by some conservatives. Personally I think it is a good bill but whatev... At least their using an actuall funding source instead of putting us more into debt.. idk

in the UK they are supposed to use some of the revenue from alcohol and tobacco to help fund the health service but they dont. i pay £200 road tax and i cant drive down some roads because thay are in such a state of disrepair. 81.5% of the (very expensive )cost of fuel here is tax. I have concluded the only thing political parties (right or left) are good at is spinning lies and fucking people over. i wouldn't trust what any of them say.

To compel a man to furnish funds for the propagation of ideas he disbelieves and abhors is sinful and tyrannical.

now why cant current Presidents (or our Priministers in the UK) be more like Jefferson

    The modern version is:
A man who is not compelled to furnish funds for the propagation of ideas he disbelieves and abhors is sinful and Lazy

A man like Jefferson couldn't get elected today. Look what happened to Ron Paul.

The sheeple are much too willing to sacrifice liberty for security... Except, they don't realize, the government they rely on for their security is the thing from which they have the most to fear.

lol, sheeple... like it. Dont know much about Ron Paul (or American Politics) to be honest but you are right; Jefferson would be considered a bit of an outsider these days ....at least if he was in the UK. But to me his words are like black and white truth, undeniable
