so you follow and unfollow, blacklist those you unfollowed so you dont follow them again.

now, i suspect for that to work (not following unfollowed users), the following and unfollowing have to be in the same project. when FL finds a person to follow, it checks the blacklist first. if the blacklist is in a different project, it won't see them, and hence it does not work.

for the same reason, if the blacklist is deleted, FL will follow people that you have unfollowed. However, if you dont delete the list and when it gets very long, it will freeze up FL because it takes effort to load the list. (I wonder why nobody has this problem?)

i do not see (or know) where else FL save these lists other than on the fly?

you can't find those, because FL doesn't save them as a txt, i don't have FL installed atm, so i can't check, but once i was looking for the saved lists, i found them and they're stored in files what you can't access outside FL, i can't remember exactly, but those either had no extension or an extension which is understood by FL, but not by other programs, text editors didn't open them

and yea, the lists are getting bigger and bigger and takes longer and longer to open them, i have the same problem with another twitter bot, when following 50-100k users a day, txt files can get big pretty fast :)

FL shouldn't freeze though at least not forever, depending on the size of the list, it can take a few secs until it loads, if you want to preserve the lists, the only thing you can do is upgrade your config/VPS: more powerful CPU, SATA HDD -> SSD and more RAM

my hard drive is already SSD.
3 instances of FL takes up to 1.6GB of my 4GB of RAM.
cpu usage is about 10% of my 3 cores.

what else could make my FL 'not responding?'

i removed liked-post list (18 accounts, total some 600k posts which must be small compared to a lot of members here), FL could finally run again. however, it freezed up again after just 1 day?

i also noticed that my "following" list is some 26k while i am currently following just 3k, so obviously the list actually includes the blacklist. the total size of the list is now also around 500k. but i cannot delete the list?

are those values true when FL tries to access the lists or are those true when the list are already loaded and the bot is working on the projects?

4GB of RAM might not be enough though, but it easily can be malfunction of the software too, in just 1 day the files can't get that big, that it would cause the tool to crash
reading and writing the files doesn't take too much RAM once they're already loaded, FL uses much resources when loading the lists first i think, when you start to run the project

the resource usage was after the lists were loaded.
now it is stuck on "username password verified" stage again, the cpu did not even bulge, meaning it does not even attempt to do anything (right after i click the start button). same thing happened before i updated to 9.0.1 yesterday.

now it appears the problem is not the long lists. i have no idea where to even start...

i am able to run a smaller project with 5 accounts, and practically no list.
but get 'not responding' with a project with 13 accounts. (i am pretty sure many people here run much larger projects?)
