So, competitor closed down shop and let their domain with lots of backlinks expire.. i swooped it and registered as mine. What can i do to get some juice from it? Do i 301 redirect to my company domain?

Tips are appreciated!
Thank you
Dan

Try restoring the site, maybe you can change the content and links or add new links

Recreate a page there. Try to check which pages had the most links (other than the home page) and recreate them with the exact url.
And put some content in each. You can purchase here in the forum some people to write the content for you. Write about topics of your niche.
Then inside that content, put some contextual links to your sites (try to send the links to places in your site that are similar in content).
For example if your market is photoshop works, and your competitor had a page talking about "clipping images", then you can place there a article about the clipping thing and then put a contextual link to your place of your site where you also talk about clipping.

This is way better than a sad 301.

It totally depends on you, if you don't have enough time and budget, just 301 redirect them to your site. Or, you can build sites on them and add content, you might use it also for you PBN.

Thanks for the pbn idea, it can actually work out as a great custom PBN :)
