i would use my first month for testing rather than trying to gain followers. choose one niche, post regularly, experiment with various hooks nd video formats nd see which videos are being rettained. when i saw which video format started gaining some views i would focus on that format rather than on trying everything.
 
I’ll post a few videos and leave them for a month. If they get good views, I’ll start developing the channel further. If the views are low, I’ll change my content strategy.

it’s a good way to test a channel without wasting several months on something that’s completely wrong. i would also analyze user retention and referral sources, not just views.
 
Pick one niche, post consistently every day, test different hooks and formats, and double down on whatever starts getting views and watch time.
 
spend the first month testing different topics and formats while posting consistently track retention engagement and which videos attract the right audience then focus more on the formats that show promising results.
 
Starting from zero can actually be a good way to learn what works without overcomplicating things. I’d focus on consistency and testing different content styles first rather than worrying too much about numbers in the beginning.
 
Starting from zero, treat the first month as a learning period. Pick one audience, post consistently, and don’t expect every video to go viral. Pay attention to what works and make more content like that. The main goal is to learn and improve.

I see many reposted videos, algorithm is somehow bugged when people upload some funny videos and showing it to me many times.

Also depends on your country, if you see many content on TikTok from your country then create videos only for your country to gain a lot of views, thats what i did and gain from 100k to 700k views on videos. When I upload something on English then views are stuck on 20-150 views which is bullshiet...
 
Post 5 videos one per day during the first week and then start to warm up the account
Go to the FYP and see what is tiktok showing you and reducate the algorithm: use the search tool and search for all the keywords of your niche (if you don't know what are them, ask chatGPT), then follow similar accounts
Once you are following some similar accounts, return to the FYP and see if the algorithm is now knowing about "your interests" (content in your niche), if tiktok shows content in your niche, start to like and comment the videos. If not, go to FOLLOWING tab and start to like and comment
Repeat searching for keywords of your niche, until the algorithm shows you mainly content in your niche in the FYP in the next days
Once you do it for a week, your videos should start to get some views, likes and maybe some comments in few days. Once you start to have some followers posts some new videos daily.
And of course, any follower that is relevant in your niche follow him back
 
first would try to understand the current algorithm. how its working, how to grow using algorithm. for now i would select tech niche. because now its has a huge amount of audiences. from the 1st week i will consistently uploading 4-5 videos regularly. and i would add a good 5 sec hook on my videos. i will give reply all the comments on my videos.
 
Post content regularly, stick to the same topic, and try different video formats.

If you start a Tok Tok account today with zero followers, your main goal in the first month will be to build the Foundation of the account and explain to TikTok's algorithm who your content is for. Decide on a niche and profile. Write clearly in Your bio what you will make videos about and upload Only videos on that specific topic on Your profile. Hook and quality. Put something in the first 3 seconds of the video that will make people stick. Ensure good lighting and clear voice, Regular unloads and trends. Post 1-2 videos every day. Use trending music in the background and Don't give more than 3-4 hashtags. Your account will Stand if one Video goes viral in the first month, so be patient and create content.
 
Post consistently, reply to comments and double down quickly when something works. If one format randomly does 10x your normal views, make another version while it’s still working.

I would be creating raw content, posting 3 to 4 videos daily and allow others to repost my videos. I have tried raw videos instead of optimized they work better.

Starting from zero is not difficult, maintaining the pace and being sincere to the audience by giving them valuable content regularly should be worked on.
