I'm not sure if this has been covered anywhere but I'd like to see other people's opinions and possibly recommendations if one were to start from nothing on YouTube. I want to start YouTube (not for the money) but just to grow my own channel and to try to grow my new Instagram (music account) there. Would it be possible to rank anything with 0 subscribers? I forgot to mention that I already have a YouTube channel from around 6 years ago with about 500 subscribers but they're most likely inactive and not worth to keep the channel? I'm thinking I should focus on getting followers on my new Twitter account or a Facebook page then once I have a certain amount, I could post my first YouTube video? I'm thinking I have to do something like that to get initial subscribers or people wanting to see videos of me! I've also thought about doing Facebook ads as a general music page on Facebook for my Facebook page or even my first YouTube video. But since I never tested this, I'm kinda not sure. Everybody starts from somewhere, I get that. I started Twitter/YouTube in 2012 and it was way easier for me back then. But now I feel like it's way harder for some reason. I posted music videos when I was 13-14 back then and I got to 20,000 organic views, about 10,000 real subscribers, and about 1,000 likes per video (from promoting it all over Facebook/Twitter). But for some reason I stopped and I should've never stopped.. How would you go from starting a new YouTube channel with 0 subscribers?
