    Has anyone did this?

A while ago I made an account in the health niche then emailed lots of companies when it got bigger, and now I've got tons of free stuff like protein powders etc. (I also do other stuff with this account but that's just one thing I did)

I'm now thinking of doing this for the male fashion niche so in the future I won't even have to buy my own clothes or anything because I'll be getting them for free! Plus anything I don't like or if I have too much of it, I can just sell to my friends or on eBay or something. Then after that I could think of selling on teespring or an e-commerce site or something, maybe.

there are lots of "brand promoter" just be a good looking male with about 10k followers and min. 500 likes and you'll get so much
free stuff like hoodies, shirts, jeans and shoes just to wear them and to put them on your timeline

I scrape high quality pics from online. I'm going to make a separate account which I will switch to my own in a few months when it has reached a large amount of followers, to try and make myself a brand.

If you're big enough they find you. Until then, you can look at the companies your competitors are promoting

Companies have rarely asked me to promote their stuff. I was actually just sent some vegan cookies from a company who seen my Twitter page lol. My Twitter only has 1800 followers too.

I'll take a look at that thanks.

I began getting asking companies for stuff at around the 20k mark.

Amazon (look at the "brands" at the side and just get every one of their contact details, then make one generic email template and send it to hundreds using the BCC option on Outlook, that's what I did). Also just search Google also and there's tons of companies out there who will gladly give you samples or more.

The most I have been given was about £150 worth of stuff which went right on eBay lol. I only post healthy foods but have persuaded some gym companies that them sending me their equipment to advertise on my page would benefit them XD I did get some exotic meats(like kangaroo, buffalo etc), but because many of my followers are vegan, I made sure to shout the company out at around 1am so hardly anyone would see, then make another post soon after.

But warning, with all of the stuff I have received I have had to make high quality posts out of them myself. Don't just put up a crappy image of their stuff in their packaging or no company will want you to use their stuff and your engagement will also drop

Haha, i find this awesome and funny, getting free products. Nice OP :D

I've received free clothes from smaller clothing brands but in return i have to wear the product and model for them,
And LOL, I ain't the best looking guy, that's what good lighting and a bit of editing helps.
I usually find them, just searching small clothing brands and they are looking for "Promo Models" and I just basically email them discussing info about how I will promote, etc and they send me 1 or 2 items from their shop :)
Also helps if you have a decent sized personal page, i have about 3.5k followers averaging 500-700 likes per photo.

That's what I want to do soon, make loads of male fashion sub-niche pages and just get a load of free stuff so I don't have to buy any clothing for myself anymore haha! Personal pages seem to have great engagement compared to just generic repost ones don't you think?

Yeah of course, since you have a better connection, i personally know most of my followers, mostly friends or people i've met in person so yeah engagement is much higher than compared to my "fashion niche" account.
