Within 1 week my hosting was shut down and said I had to go with their dedicated hosting. I tried to explain to them it was bot traffic from Twitter and to check their logs but they keft wanting me to go dedicated. So I shut down my site and just redirected it.

I see. Have to keep an eye on that and possibly exclude the bot traffic if it happens. Thanks for heads up.

Hey,

I started the same journey a while ago and by now I have approx. 2k uniques a month. I now wanted to try autoposting my tubeace posts to twitter, tumblr etc including a preview image. Anybody has an idea on how I get an image to get posted with the tweets etc. afaik I have to have a featured image in the tubeace posts but no idea on how to do that.

any help is much appreciated.

My 2cents: Unless you find a more passive way of generating traffic, it will be very difficult for you to scale this up.
Besides, the adult niche pays really bad, you need 100k~ unique visitors a day to hit the $100/day mark with a "general" tube site.

for dizplay:

1. Install the WP Plugin "Featured Images in RSS w/ Size and Position"
2. Get an account at ifttt
3. Create a new recipe Feed (yoursite/feed) --> tumblr and Feed --> Twitter

This works great for me and its free
