Well i am starting a sports news/predictions/videos blog because my country is lacking one, and the majority of the population is obsessed with soccer. I am going to create one but i was not sure if i should go with Wordpress or something else, and if you say Wordpress, what template should i use? Any Tips?

    Thank you!

I think Wordpress is the best CMS for blogging, try it and you will see.
I used a theme called hiero or something like that, it is free and pretty good, but you have to fix some designing problems, and it has no Homepage slider.

I would go for Wordpress too. Try a Google search for 'sport magazine themes for Wordpress' -something like that :) Definitely go with a paid theme though for the support.
