    Hello All,

First let me say this is by far the BEST forum about marketing and I have learned so much- THANK YOU!!

Second, Im interested in starting my own Social Media, SEO marketing site and need some help on software that will not only help with in the daily activities but can generate reports for clients.

Any help with this or any suggestions on the direction I should go will BE VERY MUCH APPRECIATED. :)

Market Samurai and SEO Powersuite are the one I recommend. You can find them in the download section for free. :)

I second Wings[SENSE] on those choices.
Market Samurai offers a good keyword research for you awhile the Power Suite you can find here can create the report you may need.

Keep in mind that you can create your own report by taking screenshots of your screen using Jing (free) and putting together a PDF showing
research using Google Insight, Google Keyword Tool, Comscore, etc.

On top of the page add your company logo the same way you see the ebooks around...easy breezy brother.

Other tool in case you don't have microsoft office (paid version) you can download "open office" for free ( openoffice(dot)org ).
And if you have all that already, what are doing here talking? Go make some money!:D

P.S. Download the "Ecover" and make some nice 3D images for your free ebook.

Someone said it above, but I'd say MS and Ranktracker which is part of SEO Powersuite.

Only $100 for Ranktracker, and by far the best investment I've made in my SEO company. Produce reports, track all the keyword rankings, track competitor keyword rankings, and then I use MS to analyze competition.

Depends on how many clients your looking to take on.

If you have over 100 your gonna need to start automating more and more of your business.

We have recently designed our own software for tracking ranks etc, written in PHP and available 24/7 for clients. Furthermore it will automate the monthly reports ect and free up your time for consulting with prospects and actually DOING the SEO work.

PS please don't start an SEO consultancy if you don't know what your doing, it makes the rest of us look bad (ranking a few micro niche sites doesn't count).

Everybody has to start from somewhere, and in this "somewhere" No One has all the answers yet...
At least he is here sharing his questions and learning from those who's been doing the work. And this is already a good start.

And he is not asking "how to rank a site," the questions are about tools and everyone has their favorites.

Last time I checked many businesses ARE built on Micro Niche Sites, so if he or anyone here can rank these sites they are already doing SEO...
    For Themselves or Clients.
