until now i am loving it. It is a different stargate, they are building the characters background, which will bring stargate universe into a different level, better.

    I am really enjoying it.

More intelligent, much less stereo-typing than previous shows, and they have moved away from the generic story telling of Atlantis.

    All pretty good so far.

Hopefully the characters that just got stranded will die on that planet. I like Eli, but I hate the other 3 with a passion.

It's garbage. I would think that if you and a group of other humans are somewhere where everything can kill you that you would figure out how to work together to survive. I had to stop watching it after the episode where the captain is having sex with his wife and the communication stone shorts out. I'm thinking who did not see that coming. Why would you have sex with your wife in another guys body. No cool man.

The show is just a dead cross between old-style SG storylines with Battlestar Galactica documentary-style edginess. What is interesting is how it portrays the ad hoc tense situation between the military and civilian staff on the boat (unlike previous expeditions where the team structure is predetermined, this thrown together group isn't clear on who is in charge). A number of personnel plainly didn't get a psych eval before getting cleared to be in the SG program, which might make for good drama, but not realism.

I'm addicted. Watched every episode of SG1 and Atlantis, so I was ready for something new. SGU is in a league of its own. I don't think SGU will last as long as SG1 but it should last longer than Atlantis did.

I really didnt like Atlantis until not long before it was taken off the air. I thought it was a cheap + tacky version of SG1 (which is still by far the best).
However towards the end, I forced myself to sit and watch from season 1 for a dozen episodes, and surprisingly I grew quite fond of it. The more I watched, the less I noticed a difference.

When Universe started, my initial feeling was OMG this isnt stargate. But I really enjoyed it by the end of the episode. Its a completely different show, right down to the cinematics. However, it was designed that way (seems to match the look'n'feel of the original movie more)

The first 5? episodes were really good, but since then the episodes have been getting worse. Hopefully they will get better soon.

Who thinks Rush is going to become a good-guy after seeing his wife again? :D

atlantis was quite good, but there were a whole lot of episodes that didn't add up to the story.... seemed just random shit.... but still funny to watch...

on Sg1 i think the ORI story could be developed more.... they could do another season.... hehe
