I have started a blog, and it is actually working. Those of you who have read my previous posts and threads are absolutely and completely aware of this fact. I've had a few dozen blogs in the past, and none of them have worked AT ALL. I think on one I had, like, 56 unique visitors in a month. Half of those were me, switching networks in different places.

Before slamming me, I KNOW that this is not exceptional, but this is my first blog, it's not indexed on Google (yet), and it is a .blogspot subdomain, I have not (yet) bought a domain name for the site.

I Digg, Stumble, Mixx, and Technorati each and every post, and make sure that I post each and every day. I hand-leech my content from another site which is poorly built and not earning many if any hits or visitors. I have submitted my blog to an appropriate Facebook group page as a link, and have received several dozen hits as a result of it.

I have implemented Google AdSense (it's an adult blog, I know, but I can't get the code to go away, and it's good to track data), Google Analytics (the best information system for analysis of web sites and pages that I have ever seen), and Google Webmaster Tools. Here are some screenshots of my Google Analytics and AdSense data:

I'm VERY happy with my results so far, and am confident that with a fanbase, some solid subscribers, and a few changes in my advertising strategies, I can get ten times that many hits and a WHOLE lot more profit.

AdSense is not my only profit method. If you visit the blog (I'm not going to spam my link here, I've done enough of that, PM me if you're really interested), you will find AdultFriendFinder, PrimaryAds, DarkBlue, and Amazon Associates advertising, with an emphasis on AdultFriendFinder's free signup program.

This is my starter blog. I chose a niche in the adult insudtry (fastest growing by far), and I'm rolling with it. In the future, I hope to start another one using the same ideas, and link the two together. Possible start an entire network of them.

All I can say from my two weeks experience so far is this:

    1. AdultFriendFinder is the best that I know of for adult-related affiliate links, no matter what the noobs say.
    2. AdSense is ok (for now) on my adult blog, possibly because it is a Blogger subdomain.
    3. I have an adult content warning on my blog FROM Blogger, therefore it makes the blog legal under their Terms of Service.
    4. Analytics is amazing.
    5. You can learn SO MUCH from Blackhatworld. Use it to your advantage.
    6. Adult orientation is the way to go. EVERYONE uses it, whether they say so or not.
    7. Most adult oriented blogs and websites are visited on the 9-5 workday timeline. Dont forget it.
    8. As far as ease of use is concerned, Blogger works much better than Wordpress. On autoblogs, not so much.
Try it, use my advice, see where it gets you. Or just ignore it. Your choice, I'm cool with whatever yu want to do. PM me if you want any more information.

I was scrolling down the page and saw you're adsense screenshot.
I was almost screaming:"32.000 visits and only 13 bucks!!!!!! GO MONETIZE THE H*LL OUT OF THEM!!!!!"

Then I calmed down as a read you're monetizing more than just adsense.

I never put my Adsense on anything adult so it's revealing to see how bad Adsense pays on this kind of content.

BTW You might consider removing the Adsense screenshot here. They don't like things like this, with clicks, CTR and CPM, in the open and this part of the board is spidered.

What's the problem with not being able to remove your adsense from the blog? Maybe I or someone else here can help before your account gets shut down.

    Thank you both.

@ Tissa2: This is the perfect time, before the arena is completely saturated. I know, I know, it'll take forever, but it will happen. Choose a starlet that is surely to become big like I did and let the method do the rest.

@ blackhit: Thank you for your kindness and your advice. I've learned that Jr. VIP is a great place to be :) and my AdSense is definitely not monetized because it's nowhere to be found on my HTML layout or my page layout or ANYWHERE, I'm just still getting tracking from it. No money either I noticed in the past week or so, since I took it off.

Oh, and one thing I have also learned from the past two weeks is to never try and edit your subjects Wikipedia entry by placing your own link in the external links section. It's a fuckin' waste of everyone's time and disappears in 30 seconds or less.

    </ common sense>

Let me get this straight - on your first day with the blog up, you had over 100 UV's?

God - I can't wait till I go to college so I can work in this adult IM without having to cover up my tracks or be paranoid my neighbor is looking in through my window/parents are behind me.

Seems like there's so much money in this, but I can't do it because I'm only 15.

That's correct, hwolfpack6, 100 uniques. Well, 92. Google Analytics doesn't lie. I just knew where to advertise. My problem is turning a profit with it, but I'm reading through the forum and figuring it out slowly.

And the adult market is definitely the way to go. It's great that you're getting started early, though. I was 15 when I started selling on eBay. It was a good way to start.

FreeTheTV please post more screenshots and such as your blog progresses daily. I would love to be able to keep up with the progress and hopefully put a new twist on what you are doing soon.

You have 346 posts here on BHW in less then a month. I think you need to read more, take more action, and stop posting so much. There are about 100 different ways you can grow your blog even bigger and double or triple that traffic by methods on BHW through SEO and link building.

Thank you for the advice nam6641. I understand that I have a lot of posts, but I'm learning quite a bit. Before starting on here, I was a confused nothing. Please don't judge me by my post amount, though. I'm not a stupid person.

Let's say I have a blog about cruises...would I want to advertise on a travel forum? The problem is that you don't really bring in backlinks that way. I bookmarked 2 of my posts on 20 various sites using socialmarker, but that didn't really bring in all that much, and I haven't gotten any more google traffic (though I bookmarked yesterday)...

    Thanks, ShadeDream!

And Wolfpack, I would suggest taking a more personal approach. Digg your posts, start a Facebook and join a group based on "cruises". Post your link.

Even though I have adult content, close to half of my hits come from Digg. Highly suggested.

What do you mean by adult? Like XXX? If so, isn't Google going to figure this out and ban you?

Yes, XXX. It's ok for Blogger. There's an adult content warning that you can put on your blog page. AdSense, no.

This is actually a Wordpress plugin called http://downloads.wordpress.org/plugin/statpress.zip.

    Enjoy!

Also - Thanks for your recommendation - I'll do the Facebook thing. I've already dugg my posts, but no avail. I'll try Facebook.
