Start growing new account: It's better to start from scratch or with account with fake followers?

Hello,

I'm planning to start growing one Instagram account for my business.

I have one Instagram account with 5k fake followers so I just wanted to ask or it would be better to start with this account or the Instagram algorithms for this account are fucked up because of the fake followers and it's better to start from scratch?

If you have spare money to buy promotions from big accounts, I can suggest you a good way to start on fresh account. Keep your 5k Fake Followers account private and buy promo on big accounts. You'll see follow requests on your account, wait for some time until promo gets over.

Remove fake followers using Auto Follower Remover ( I have this program with me ). Once all the fake followers are removed. You can accept these new follow requests and start your journey. Having niche relevant followers always add engagement to your account and help in hitting explore page.

Social Proof is everything these days, i would start with fake followers. I always do, at least 3-5k. Like someone mentioned above, buying shoutouts and having your profile private helps a lot!

Yeah, but I'm planning to start with follow/unfollow method so I think that account with 5k followers should get much better follow back ratio than account with no followers.

I'm just curious or those fake followers somehow can affect my profile on the bad side or not.

Start it from scratch.

Fake followers can ruin your chances of getting to the explore page.
 
It's best to have real, devoted audience instead of some fake followers that are not engaged at all. More natural audience is better for the most cases. And it builds trust in other people.
 
Scratch.

Nowadays a lot of people will see your page as a scam if u have low engagement rate 1% for 5k followers.
 
I always start my accounts from scratch, EXCEPT when I start an ecommerce account or something along those lines. It creates social proof from the start, most people wouldn't trust their money with an account <500 followers

It is better to start from scratch, with inactive subscribers, the account will remain unclaimed
