Service Review
I received a free copy of the guide from
@deppo as a review. While I do employ some low level cloaking in several of my projects, it's always good to keep an eye on developments in the niche, and deppo's guide certainly introduced me to a service I'd never heard of before.
The guide is well presented, and is mainly aimed at newbie levels - meaning there's a lot of detailed tutorials on setting things up, including highlighted screenshots. This is also where the guide has limitations - it's mainly tailored to using one particular tracking/cloaking service. That said, the service looks to be solid, easy to use and robust. Plus the guide talks you through using the free version of the service, which means you can practice without further investment.
You'll learn how to set up the cloaking, segment your traffic by geo and other factors, and set up tracking. There are a couple of ideas in the guide that I hadn't thought of before, which has sparked a few ideas in my old noggin.
Overall, this is a very well written guide with detailed though not too technical instructions, and even if you don't end up using the service mentioned in the pdf, you should have a good overview of what is needed to successfully cloak after reading it.
