I may be a bit late to the party with the whole SMMA idea but never the less I am going to throw my hat into the ring!

I been wanting to do this for awhile now, maybe a year and a half.

Over the past few months I came up with a game plan and I will create a complete package and offer it to businesses in a specific niche. So not just Social Media Management, but a lot of other things too that I learned while I have been on this sub! I'll keep exactly what is in this package a secret as I haven't seen anyone offer this before....

I'm going to start to get this "package" together this weekend and make calls hopefully by the end of next month.

I have a full-time job already so this will be my side side hustle as I also have a website I am starting up.

How I plan to operate this business:
  • I will use my lunch times on Wednesday and Thursday to call companies that fit my niche with the aim to schedule appointments for Saturday. I will have to make these calls from my car.
  • On Saturday I will have a Skype call/consultation with them where I will pitch them my services and package. I will be renting one of those small work spaces that comes with offices and I will use that. It's like $150 for the month and you can use it for 10 days.
  • I will set up a dot to make automatic social media post for me throughout the week. I will do this every weekend. I shouldn't be messing with anything else as it shouldn't need regular updating e.g website.
Starting price for my plan will be $997

I will push for the client to stay on for a year by making them sign a contract. Within this contract it will state that they are free to end the contract at anytime they want, but, if they leave before a year has passed then they will not be able to keep any of the work I would have done.

This is going to be very interesting as I never done this before, also I am not in he United States! So I can not see these people face-to-face like others are doing.

When I start I will post:
  • How many call I make
  • How many appointments I got from those calls
  • How many clients I got from those appointments

Any tips will be appreciated!

Now that's what I call commitment.

Wish you the best luck!
-How do you get your leads? You just scrape Google Maps Businesses in a certain area or what?

-Do you target your local country business or you go for US clients?

TikTok is definitely on the up but it won’t suit the customers my clients go for. I’m sticking to Pinterest, Instagram and Facebook maybe just maybe LinkedIn.

Wish you the best luck!

I am going for US clients only. I may offer my services locally but that is not part of my plan right now.
I will scrape the business of commerce pages of big cities e.g Miami for leads. Then I will search these leads on google and see their online presence. If they have a strong online press I will leave them alone if they are around the middle weak or have no presence at all I will call them up.

Now that's what I call commitment.

It’s 2020 time is going! No more excuses!

Good luck with your journey and I am following it. I would love to see your progress.

How do you manage to call oversea? By phone or other methods? I suppose your English is not a problem talking to people from the US on the phone, but do you think that would affect how people perceive you in terms of trust? Or trust should be created in another way?
