Hi folks. My name is Hugo and i've been hanging around on this forum for a while, and i'm still thinking of a business idea.
While thinking tonight, I thought maybe the "Get paid for downloading apps-niche" would might be something for me.

As normal rewards, or "points" that you can earn for downloading certain apps or doing surveys, you get points in games like Riot Points in League Of Legends.

How do you start this kind of website?
I know how to target, so that won't be a problem.
    Is it a hard business?
    Who should I reach to?
Is it profitable if you do it right?
How do you get the most out of the money?

My only skills is: Graphic design, some article writing and starting to learn HTML + CSS, and of course, play games.

I might have ended up in the wrong section of the forum.
Thank you so much in advance!

It's doable, you could develop either a web app or an app. The design of it must be great though. You should have many rewards (start adding PayPal) and suggest various game to work with you (start with a low rate).

Thank you for your response buddy!
Yeah sure, well that is a good thought and that can be another project after this one, because this one might be somehow "easier" and maybe can get me into the business more than going straight for the sweetness.

From my thoughts, buying Riot Points (for league of legends) like on eBay for a somehow cheaper price.
Have Riot Points, Paypal cash and other sweets for rewards for downloading apps, doing surveys and downloading softwares.
I know how to reach out but I have no idea where to start as I got no skills in coding or something like that.
Do someone have any idea of where to begin?

    Thanks

Check out Codecanyon and Themeforest. There may be some good plugins/responsive themes.

Wrapbootstrap is also another good theme website that I always use, but you need to be familiar with the twitter bootstrap framework.

This is a really great business and I've been looking into it myself so it might take some hard searching around to figure out the right way to set it up. You could always contact some of the sites that already implement the same idea and ask them for information. Without seeming too much like a competitor of course.

Twitter made a CSS framework. Basically making sites with bootstrap allows you to create them really quickly. Its simple to learn, just google it. That website I mentioned before (Wrapbootstrap) has tons of bootstrap themes for websites.

    Hey-- First post.

Sounds like you've got a good plan, but if you're going to make decent money, there's no way around getting your hands dirty and writing at least part of the app yourself. I would recommend familiarizing yourself with NodeJS/Express first and then working your way toward the front-end.

    Suggestions:
    WrapBootStrap
    angularJS
    angularUI
    Ionic Framework
    Mean Stack
    Font Awesome

PS Sorry, evidently I'm still too noob to post URL

To be completely honest, you're in way over your head unless you're either an experienced developer or willing to burn through a lot of money for development and testing. Try to get a steady income and the use the profits to finance a project like this ;)

There are tons of companies doing this.Nothing new. Check out Tapjoy, they are the biggest incentivized download network right now. If you don't have ideas to better or them or enough capital, try something else.

    Thank you for your response.
I know there is, but I haven't seen anyone marketing the sites in-game or in groups because it has nothing to do with it.
If you say in chat to your gaming-friends: "Hey bro?" And start talking about something, telling them that you've recently started a website that you can gain free Riot Points for just downloading something isn't a bad idea for getting customers.
There are hundreds of ways to twist this but it was just an example.

Except this idea I've had no idea what so ever, and that bores me out. I got no skills in coding or no business idea so what should I do, really?
    Thank you for the response!

This is what I was thinking to do. It would be a great business and will bring in some good income. The thing is, how do you go about making the app.

Unless you've had prior experience with a similar large scale project (both in regards to the coding job and the overall management) you're way out of the league.
I'd consider myself a pretty robust front&backend developer but I'd be frightened to start a project like the one you've described (then again - I got no experience writing phone-apps).
A project like this needs to be bullet-proof. Both in regards to people cheating the system as well as persistence in the database along with the overall system.

The idea is interesting indeed and I've thought of it myself several times. However, the amount of resources and experience required is just too much (at least for me).

Ambassy is correct; however, I don't think anyone is saying it's impossible. You're simply unprepared. Spend the time learning about the medium and your constraints, namely time, will become more apparent. It's never been easier to learn and write single page apps, but you'll soon find that developing a prototype is only a small fraction of the effort required. Writing any code/script that is exposed to the whole of the internet will be under constant bombardment and must as Ambassy says be bullet-proof. It's also difficult to forecast how quickly and efficiently your app can scale. I think a good start would be creating a secure (perhaps VPS) network to deploy and your trustworthy friends. I recommend starting by making a restful API that can handle Logins. There are plenty of "seeds" out there that can have you cranking out a prototype in no time. If you develop yourself, you'll get something worthwhile out of the experience regardless of the ultimate success of the endeavor. If you try to pay developers, you'll have learned next to nothing, be out their pay, and could potentially have nothing to show for it.
