Hi everyone! Rating stars is a good type of schema to increase the CTR on SERPs, but...

Can we rate our own posts/articles? Google knows when it's me doing this? Is it bad?

Besides, I was thinking about sending my articles to my friends in order to earn more star ratings. Would be that more "acceptable"?

it's a great idea, any and all screen space you occupy in google serp will drive more traffic to your site.

google has no way of knowing whether you yourself rate your pages or not. for safety you should implement code actually making it possible for an outsider to rate your pages, and add the ratings slowly.

i've done it before and it worked great

Thank you for the answer!!

Does your star rating disappear sometimes? 3 or 2 weeks ago the stars were ok, but now it's not being showed in the searching.

They are being detected by Google Search Console, just not being showed.

I don't know exactly what makes them appear or disappear from the SERP. I would imagine the higher your site's authority is, the higher the chance they do show. But there is a non-zero chance of them showing even for the worst sites, so you can lose nothing if you don't do them, but if they do show up, it benefits you

Yeap, I think it's gonna help in some ways. Next step: FAQ schema...

They always do well and if I may advise, place at the beginning of the article not the end. It is easier for Google to understand them immediately and insert them in the SERP

Rating your own posts is a good idea, but try to make it natural and dont leave any footprints
Also try to earn some more stars to make it trusted one.
